Part 6 Chapter 7

February had gone by and Jessie had her baby and she wanted to honor Matthew's late grandmother to name her "Debbie". Matthew was running late and missed the birth but luckily he signed the birth certificate and was there after to hold the baby. Only if Matthew knew a few weeks later , Cherry would find out she's pregnant. She had first threw up and felt some morning sickness come over her and her mother had no idea what was wrong with her. But her mother had 3 kids so she knew how pregnancy goes but didn't expect her baby girl to be out there having sex because cherry was a virgin. So after her mother calm down she decided to help her daughter out with a pregnancy test and then found out her daughter was pregnant. Cherry's mom was highly upset that her daughter would be so naive to have a baby under the age of 18. Cherry pleaded to her mother saying it was a mistake I didn't think I would end up pregnant , it was just one time. Cherry's mom smacked her and said "little girl it only take one time to get pregnant. How could you do this your father is working 2 jobs to take care of this house , your black ass , and my two other babies. Now we gotta take care of a grandchild too?" "You know what get out my face cause now I have to find out who this boy mother is and tell her!". Cherry ran to her room crying she was not happy about this at all. Meanwhile Joicy and Derrick decided to take a visit to the doctor since Joicy was now 42 and wanted to make sure her having a baby this late in the game would be a safe choice. The doctors told her the x-ray came back and shouldn't be any concerns but just to be mindful that since she's over 40 to be more careful with this pregnancy. This meant Joicy would possibly be sitting down this pregnancy instead of being a hard working woman who could do 5-6 different things at a time like Joicy usually does . So for the next couple of weeks  Joicy and Derrick tried for having a baby as Joicy was ovulating. 

          A few weeks later in March , Matthew's baby "Debbie" was a month old . Joicy invited her other family members without the presence of Sharleen there , to her house to do a sip and see. Of course she invited her friend Melissa and her husband plus Mrs.sena and Mr. Vangoe . She also invited a few people from the salon to come see the baby as well. The family was altogether and happy for once , even hooch and Matthew finally made up and were back on good terms like mother and son. As the party was going on they suddenly heard a loud car door slam and heard people walking up . It was cherry and her parents coming to confront Matthew about what happened at the party. They heard the knock at the door and it sounded like it was the police. Derrick being the man of the house with his wife Joicy decided to answer the door and when they did cherry's mother went off. Cherry's mother said "Now I don't know how you raise your kids or your daughters, but when it comes to mines I have never raised them to sleep with other boys outside in the shed. Now I'm gonna ask you this and ask you once are you the mother of Matthew hasltefelt?". Joicy then replied standing there confused "excuse me ma'am but your ass got a lot of nerve walking to my front door step talking to me crazy , now imma ask you this ONCE , who are you and what do you want?". Cherry's mother then said "What I want is your son's neck on a platter for getting my daughter pregnant". Joicy stepped back as everyone gasped, she then turned around and said "Matthew , I just know you didn't get another girl pregnant and your daughter is not even 2 months old". Jessie was crying because in her mind she thought her and Matthew had a little family. Matthew said "look mom I'm sorry it was late night at a party I had completely forgot I slept with this girl". Cherry's father then tried to launch at Matthew but Jerry and Derrick stopped him and gave him that stare to back off . Cherry then said while crying "so I was just a piece to you? All that talking on the phone meant nothing? I can't believe you". Matthew said "why didn't your virgin ass tell me you were pregnant then?". Cherry's mom threw her heel at Matthew's forehead she couldn't believe what she was hearing out of his mouth . After that Joicy and Cherry's mother got to fighting , cherish and Melissa tried breaking it up but Cherry's mom was windmilling so she ended up hitting them too. After all of this Jerry , Derrick , Cherry's father , and some others tried breaking it up.
Joicy then walked over to Matthew and slapped him and said "since you wanna be grown , I want you out of my house by tomorrow". Joicy then walks upstairs with the help of her daughter , Melissa , and Mrs.sena . Jessie then saids to Matthew "you better hope I forgive you , because if not you will never see your daughter again!". She then hit him in the balls and walked off.
