He was regretting letting go of his old marriage. He was loosing love for Daki.

Tanjiro left the building that day feeling.. strange.
Not that the glimmer left him. It was just that... Kanao rarely lost her temper nowadays. She was always really formal.
Oh, He finally realized something, I see it now. She gets really angry if someone provokes her or there's a need of it.
He sighed and headed back to his house. Of course, Daki was waiting.
"Tanjiro-kuun~!!" She said excitedly, "I saw this new designer Versace dress that I really, really want, along with this other Gucci bag I saw! And I can't chose between the Bellevue Media Loro Piana bag or the Luis Vuitton bag!"
The male raised an eyebrow, "You want all of that?"
Daki pressed her fingers together, "Etto..."
"I can't get you all of that. It's too expensive. If you want all that, we'll have to sell our entire living." Tanjiro warned.
"I thought you made ¥50,000,00 (about $352,581.34) a month!" Daki wailed.
That was true. But right now, Tanjiro wasn't up for Daki's bratty attitude for some suspicious reason.
"Hai, but that doesn't give you the right to shop for whatever you want! Pick one: The Versace dress, the Gucci bag, the Bellevue Media Loro Piana bag, or the Louis Vuitton bag!"
"But.. but you have enough for all!"
That was, yet again, very true. Tanjiro's soft spot had always been Daki. He used to get everything for his wife, because her presence filled his heart. But for some reason, his heart now felt empty around this woman, like she was a stranger.
Rather, his heart filled when he was with someone else...
"Look over there," Tanjiro pointed to Daki's makeup desk, which was pilled up, "You have a lot of expensive packets of make up, real jewelry, designers clothes and designer bags. You never use even half of them. Why don't you start acknowledging the things you already have?"
"Those are SO out of trend! I need new ones, don't you know?" Daki scowled at the pile.
Tanjiro felt like a rich father, trying to explain to his spoiled teenage daughter that she shouldn't just beg for whatever she wanted any time she wanted it and start noticing all the luxuries she already possesses.
Since when did I have such a bratty and demanding wife? He thought, though clearly, since the first day she moved in with him.
"All of that in total costs four month's worth of profit!" He argued.
Daki wailed loudly, "But.. but you can always get it back right? As husband, you're supposed to put me before the company! So why won't you buy it!?"
"Gomenasai, but- actually, I shouldn't even be apologizing, I've spoiled you too much! It's time you stopped acting like a spoiled teenage girl, begging with her oto-san, and start getting back to work!"
"B-But I have been working, Tanjiro-kun!" Daki cried.
"And what have you been working on?" Tanjiro sneered, "Spending all my money? Shopping all day?"
"No! I...I...etto... erm..I..." The woman's voice trailed off.
The male wasn't surprised. "Next time, when you want something really expensive, you have to get a job and get it for yourself. I'm not going to pay for it anymore."
"B-BUT WHEN YOU WERE MARRIED TO KANAO, SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO WORK!" Daki screamed.
Tanjiro, surprisingly, found himself defending his ex, "I didn't let her!"
"B-But all my friends don't work! Their husbands are just as rich as you! And they get their wives whatever they want! Hmph!"
By now, they'd been arguing for ten minutes straight. It was nightfall. Tanjiro was exhausted from his day of work and being slapped by Kanao.
He knew that Daki would never stop arguing until he bought her the expensive luxuries- correction, all the expensive luxuries- so he might as well just...
"Alright. If we keep arguing, we'll be up until midnight. And even though you don't need to work, I do. So get on with it. Show me what you want to buy." He reluctantly answered.
"Ah~! Arigato, Tanjiro-kuun~~!"
"Hai. But remember, Daki, this is the last time I'm using my money on your expensive luxuries every time you want something." Tanjiro warned.
"Ah? What happened to 'Daki-chan'!?" The woman whimpered.
"This is utterly ridiculous. Do you have to argue over names too?" He muttered, though somehow, she heard him.
"Hmph! It's only normal for you to call me that name!" Daki crossed her arms.
Tanjiro was too tired to argue further. Right now, all he wanted to do was to drift into sleep's arms.
Really... I feel like I've gone crazy these days. It might have been that he was just tired. Or he was stuck in thought.
Wait.
Finally, he realized what was happening.
He was regretting letting go of his old marriage. He was loosing love for Daki.
