Tanjiro Kamado is a young, college graduate student. While relaxing under a tree that held all his childhood memories one day, he received an unexpected invitation...
He knew what was happening, though he didn't want to admit it was true. Tanjiro already lost Kanao. And now, he lost Daki as well.

The next week went by in a blur, and Tanjiro was glad when it ended.
He couldn't focus at all that week, and messed up more than a few files on his project. He nearly fell asleep at a meeting.
Worst of all, he had to face Kanao every day. He couldn't speak to her properly and hated seeing her in the state where she always held a straight face.
It was a Friday night. Tanjiro opened the door to the beach house.
Normally, Daki would run up to him the moment he stepped foot inside and beg for something super expensive.
However, this time she was curled up on the couch with a smile on her face. At first, Tanjiro thought she was scrolling though social media, trying to find something expensive.
But soon, he realized that she couldn't be looking for expensive goods, because her fingers were constantly moving, like she was texting someone...
"You're early." Daki complained, "You should've stayed at work and gotten more money."

"Yeah, good way to greet your husband when he just comes home from a hard day of working for profit!" Tanjiro pointed out, "Besides, working overtime isn't going to change anything!"
Daki rolled her glossy eyes and sprinted upstairs. Her phone was pressed closely to her, so Tanjiro couldn't see who she was texting....
"Who are you texting?" He demanded.
It either was that she didn't hear him, or that she just ignored him.
Tanjiro sighed. Daki was becoming very distant these days. Something told Tanjiro that his suspicions were true...
"So why is it that you wanted to meet us?" Raiden asked.
Tanjiro had called up his friends from college, Shuga Raiden (Eighty Six) and Itadori Yuji (Jujustu Kaisen). They met at the milk tea shop.
"I need your help with something." Tanjiro said.
"Hai.. and what is that?" Yuji questioned, finishing his milk tea.
Tanjiro explained his suspicions and plans.
"So.. let me get this straight: Your wife has been becoming very distant and you think she's hiding something from you, so you want us to help you find out?" Raiden asked.
"Hai." Tanjiro affirmed.
"Well, how can we help?"
He gave them a short explanation, "Since I need to be following Daki, I need you two to act like new workers and cover up my absence. I don't want to tell another lie, because I really am bad at it."
