Medalyn woke up on a bed, it was dark already, she wondered how she got there and where she was, she remembered Mr Spidvil saying she was going to start living with him till her parents came back from their trip, she immediately stood up and ran out of the room, the house didn't look like Mr Spidvil house, or did he build another one, she thought, anyhow, Medalyn wanted to leave as soon as possible to meet Darwin, she thought she had a dream of her meeting him and crying on his shoulder, just then she started crying again, she missed him so much and knew only he could comfort her now
"Medy!" She paused, she had been walking to only god knows where, she just stared at Darwin holding a tray of food, it actually smelled nice though, he dropped the tray on the nearest table and walked to meet her, she was just about entering the parlour "You're awake...how are you feeling now?" Medalyn hugged him tight
"It is your house" she said in a whisper
"Yes it is" Darwin said still confused about everything, he released her "you are probably hungry....I was to bring food to you but since you're here...." He picked the tray and signalled her to wrap her hand round he's, she did and he smiled "let's eat on the dining table" as they walked to the dinning room Medalyn observed the house, it was a bungalow but yet so beautiful and clean although literally everything was white, and the light made her feel it was still day time, he dropped the food on the table and pulled a sit for her to seat on, she whispered a thanks and sat, Darwin did the same, he watched her pick up the spoon, but her hands were still shaking a little "let me help you with that" he smiled and took the spoon from her and started feeding her "you like it?" She nodded.

Medalyn closed her eyes, she had never felt so vulnerable and she wondered why, she felt lucky she had Darwin to look after her, he rubbed her arm to calm her down, the tv was on but non of them was watching, Medalyn eyes were closed and Darwin thought of what made her act the way she did since the evening, he wanted to ask her what happened but then let it go, if she didn't want to tell him he wasn't going to push it
"Darwin?" She called his name calmly and opened her eyes, her head was on his chest and his hand round her shoulders
"Yes"
"You know..." Medalyn chuckled "you were the first person I thought of and wanted to meet.... I wanted to see so much that I started crying...." She smiled "and when I got up I felt terrified....the one I wanted to see was you....I thought I saw you in my dream comforting me but it was actually what happened before I past out...." Darwin could not hold it anymore, he held her to face him, then sighed
"I didn't want to ask you...I thought if you didn't want me to know at least I should be there to comfort you just as you've always done for me...." He chuckled "Medy I can't remember you crying....I've never thought of it... now all of a sudden you run to me not just crying but shaking and scared, you fainted Medy...." He stared at her for a while "you can't imagine how worried I was... especially knowing how tough minded you are Medy...." Medalyn noticed his watery eyes
"Darwin...."
"What's wrong?...what happened to you?...why don't you wanna stay with Mr Spidvil fact why would you stay with him.... and for sake who is Mr Spidvil" he looked confused "tell me what's going on" Medalyn hugged him, she didn't expect anyone to be so concerned about her, not even her parents who were always out for business trips, she released him and smiled
"My parents travelled again...." Darwin adjusted himself on the couch and held Medalyn hands, she looked at it and smiled even brighter but became serious and looked at Darwin "Mr Spidvil is one of my lecturers and my father's half-junior brother......" She was silent a little then continued "my parents usually left me with Mr Spidvil while they went on their trips and I as okei with it at a point but....." She nodded in the negative "ever since he started making advances at me I...." Darwin frowned "I just couldn't take it anymore...."
"Did you...."
"I told my parents about it but they didn't believe me" she chuckled "mum said I was making up stories so I won't have a babysitter who would watch me and who could control me" she looked at Darwin who obviously did not like were the whole thing was going "I don't blame them though...I just entered high school and was being rebellious and all just so I could gain their attention and the school could send for them constantly which would disrupt their business trips and all that stuff" she wiped her tears "at first he started with flirting...I mean he had just completed his final years in school and I had just entered high school....I thought it was because we were close and I was pretty and all but...." Medalyn wiped her tears, she nodded in the negative "it just got worse....nd when I told him I only saw him as a nice uncle he went wild and became all possessive and obsessed....he stalked me and...." She closed her eyes feeling hurt, Darwin tightened his grip and brought her palm to his lips and kissed it, she opened her eyes and smiled at him "no matter how much I try...my parents don't believe he is that kind of person.... I warned him to act like he doesn't know me or I would report him to the management or police, but because of it he's being trying to make this school hell for me.... but I had you" she said and smiled, they both stared at each other
"Why didn't you tell me this since"
"I knew you'll ask that" she said laughing calmly then stopped "you had your issues you were dealing with....besides it's last year I knew you liked me from the beginning....you were always so indifferent and I was the one always pushing you....I never thought you'd fight for me or help me in any way.....however... Just seeing you alone made me forget Spidvil....even now...you've been my strength in school without even knowing it" Darwin let his tears drop and looked away
"So your parents say you should stay with this SPIDVIL......" He looked at her "till they come back, right?" Medalyn nodded "you'll live with me then....I'll call your mum to tell her you'll be staying with me okei?" He could see how relaxed and happy Medalyn was
"Thank you Darwin" he released her hand and held her face
"It's my responsibility to keep my girlfriend safe and happy" Medalyn blushed, she looked so beautiful that Darwin smiled too "I didn't want you to come to my house though...." Medalyn frowned "I don't want you bossing me around" he looked at her and laughed
"You!...." She pursued him round and round, they both laughed now, she was to hit him but he held her and pulled her to himself, Medalyn felt her heart beat faster than normal, they were so close to each other, she could never get used to it, she thought
"That's just a joke....I didn't want you to ever come here because...." He looked from her eyes to her lips, Medalyn looked away and back at him slowly "you're irresistible....I might not be able to control myself" he was to kiss her then she closed her eyes tight, he just stared at her, he noticed her pink lips and long eye lashes, no wonder it looked like she did makeup most times, Medalyn slowly opened her eyes, he smiled and held her waist closer to him "you're beautiful Medalyn" Medalyn thought she looked like a tomato now with how hard she blushed, she looked away "and a strong lady" she looked at him with widened eyes "that's one of the numerous reasons I can't stop loving you" she hopped excitedly with a wide grin, Darwin chuckled wondering how cute she was.

Darwin helped Medalyn lay on the bed and covered her with duvet, she just kept smiling at him, he chuckled and sat by her
"Am I too handsome or too romantic or both" he said smiling handsomely, Medalyn nodded smiling "both?" She nodded, Darwin laughed "Hun?...you're making me blush"
"You better enjoy it while it last...I'm going back to my new self by tomorrow" he nodded and pecked her on her forehead and winked at her before walking away, she blushed and rolled on the bed excitedly. Darwin shut the door behind him and laughed hearing Medalyn scream excitedly but silently, then he walked away.
