Medalyn could feel the difference between when her uncle was in the university and when he was not, she was quite enjoying her stay with Darwin, now she saw Alfred, Fredek and Mario frequently, one could say they were the only guys close to Darwin, especially Fredek, Darwin talked to him for hours sometimes, she agreed they were just as handsome as girls in the university said they were, although some exaggerated a little, they were rich, fun and very intelligent, no wonder Darwin stayed around them, Darwin noticed how free Medalyn was now, she also acted cute most times rather than tough, and he loved it, he wished Mr Spidvil stayed in the hospital for a longer time, he made sure to spoil Medalyn with gifts and love, but he also made sure to hide himself.

Medalyn heard Darwin talking through the phone in the kitchen
"I can't just tell her to leave....you know she's gone through alot, and it's my responsibility to take care of her....I'll make sure she doesn't find anything...." she smiled and tiptoed behind him then slowly wrapped her arms round his waist, just then he jerked and turned to her putting off his phone almost immediately, he just stared at her, obviously shocked, Medalyn chuckled looking confused
"That's an expression I didn't think you'd make" he forced a smile and tried to look his calm "who was that you were talking to that made you shocked when I came in?" She asked looking serious, Darwin just stared at her, she folded her arms and raised a brow "Darwin you've being having funny looking calls, the other time you went all the way to the pool side to make your call, then I saw you talking with someone over the phone in the parlour....at night....you had your ear pod on and raised the volume of the tv so it would look like you were watching a night movie or show...."
"I...."
"Don't try to lie Darwin....you're dating a very intelligent girlfriend....I can't be deceived for long....that's why I'm studying what I'm studying in university" Darwin knew what Medy said was true, she could hardly be deceived, but he took the risk because he knew her better than anyone, and he knew she would never suspect him of doing anything wrong, he hoped she didn't hear the conversation he was having with Mario "Darwin are you seeing someone else?" Darwin was surprised by the question and showed it, he widened his eyes baffled then released himself and chuckled, he was glad that she had no clue of all the calls he was having, but of all things why cheating, she looked cute asking that kind of question though, she had always acted like she didn't care if he admired any girl, he leaned forward to her face while she flinched a bit, he gave a handsome smile
"Are you finally scared of losing me to another girl?" Medalyn adjusted trying to look her tough, Darwin stood properly now and smiled calmly as he enjoyed her company
"Just because I asked doesn't mean I care....besides....I just wanted to know...." Darwin wrapped his arms slowly round her waist, she stopped talking and looked at him
"Are you sure....you don't mind me being this close to another girl....you don't mind me holding another lady's waist" she looked at him with a warning expression now
"You won't dare it" Darwin did not expect that reply, he laughed
"What makes you think so?"
"I know we may not spend the rest of our lives together....." Darwin did not like that sentence, his smile slowly faded as he stared at her talk "but you can't love any other girl except me throughout this university years....I'm the only girl you can ever think about and love" he chuckled, that was very true but
"Why do you always point out that we won't spend the rest of our lives together?....don't you wanna spend the rest of your life with me? Or you don't love me that much?" She looked away
"You know that's not it....i do love you alot....I...i just don't want to be surprised when you say...." She looked at him and gave a week smile "we should go our separate ways...." Darwin frowned "or we shouldn't be together anymore...."
