"Medy...medy wait" Darwin said as he followed her into her room, she turned to him and he shut the door behind them, then he walked closer to her and was to hold her but she moved backwards staring straight at his bloody shirt, he noticed and immediately pulled them off, Medalyn raised a brow seeing there was still blood stain on his trousers,, Darwin groaned in frustration "hang on" Darwin said and rushed to the bathroom and did a quick washed up, he was to come out in a hurry with just towel on but Medalyn immediately stretched her hand with the clothes she was going to make him ware next for the party, he took it and stared at it for awhile, it had a print on it which read My best man, he smiled and wore it then walked out, Medalyn could not deny he looked breathtaking in the fitted white button shirt and red trouser but she looked away not wanting to forget what made her angry, Darwin walked closer to her and was to hold her again but she held his chest to keep distance "medy I'm sorry" she looked at him now
"You don't look like someone who isn't tough, but since when did you start beating ,?....talk more of Mario your friend.... what did he mean by the real deal?....and that you don't love me?"
"Medy you know that's not true...." He was to hold her again but she moved back
"Don't touch me...." Darwin felt his heart shatter "I don't like the fact that I'm being treated like unworthy of you by MOST of the people around you Darwin "
"But what matters is what I think after all right?" Medalyn could see the hurt in Darwin's eyes "I won't let anyone including my friends and family...." He held her hand finally "to treat you disrespectfully or insult you" Medalyn immediately remembered Kenzie,
"Oh Darwin....." She said tearfully and hugged him, he replied the hug immediately
"I'm so sorry you saw that.....I and Mario are the cat and rat who loves each other regardless" Medalyn looked at him and gave a faint smile "he'll come around soon" Darwin said and kissed medy, he was glad she didn't hear any other of their conversation, Medalyn wrapped her arms round him, she thought of the faint words she heard while walking towards them earlier, there was definitely something Darwin was not telling her, what on earth was the real deal, they released each other and smiled, Darwin held her chin and stared at her eyes "that felt....plain" he chuckled feeling disappointed and Medalyn knew he was
"You should meet your guest and thank them for coming" she said and was walking away when he held her back and pecked her
"I will tell you a little about myself tonight" she lit up, he chuckled and pecked her on her lip again "let's go" they both walked out of the room

"I can feel holes on my face cos of his stare" Taylor said feeling nervous, Alfred had been looking at her since he came out of the backyard area, at least that was when she noticed, they were sitting just across the pool in front of the compound bar, Tess rolled her eyes
"Then go talk to him...." Taylor gave her a glare "what?....even I noticed how he constantly glanced at you while you served other guys and laugh with them, he wasn't settled at all, and all of a sudden he won't just look at anyone but just stare at you like you're a tv"
"Don't exaggerate" Taylor said and glanced at him, their eyes meet but he quickly looked away, she bent her head in frustration "I can't deny that I haven't gotten over him Tess....I can't...." Tess felt bad for her friend, she pat Taylor's back to calm her but Taylor looked at her with teary eyes "why did he breakup with me..... I'm not that dumb....what on earth did I do wrong"
"Tess are you gonna really start all that talk again?....he too loves you and it's very obvious.....
you didn't even go to him again after your breakup.... that's why you have this problem...." Tess drank from her wine and sighed then said in frustration "the reason doesn't even make sense to a dog....he didn't try to act like he cheated on you, or he believed a lie about you or say something better like he's gay or worse....he wanted to have you but you don't want that but...... how can he breakup with you cos 'you both are not studying the same thing'?....does that even make sense at all?" She held her head "uhgghh....anytime I think of it I feel headache"
"He said he wanted someone as intelligent as he was" Taylor said crying but heads on the table
"Go talk with this guy and clear things, it's your only chance of seeing him....and you can't tell when next this opportunity would come....talk now Taylor" Taylor raised her head and wiped her tears "yes girl ....go talk" Taylor nodded and was walking to meet Alfred, he noticed and quickly walked away, Tess was surprised, Taylor immediately turned and walked to meet her
"Did you see that?....did you...." She said crying profusely,
"Yes I did...come, come come" Tess said in surprise signalling Taylor to go closer to her, she sat for awhile "that's so embarrassing" she could no longer sit, she got up and walked away "Wait Taylor where are you going?...." Taylor just walked away signalling Tess to wait, Tess turned to Alfred direction and frowned "what a jerk"

It was now thirty minutes Taylor had been gone and Tess searched for her at the party but didn't see her, Taylor finally called and said she had lost her way
"What were you thinking trying to leave the party?.... you barely even paid attention to the road when we were coming."
"Tess I'm scared" Taylor said crying profusely
"You're crying because of Alfred...." Taylor nodded wiping her tears
"Yeah...." She burst out crying again
"Where are you?" Tess asked walking out of the compound
"I have no idea"
"Then ask around dummy"
"There's no one here....and it's dark...I'm scared."
"Don't be, I'm coming to find you" Tess just cut the call and was to call a driver but she didn't notice the car coming and it almost hit her, she screamed and fell, but the driver just sat in the car and put in full light at her, she chuckled and got up then walked to the passenger sit, knocked on the window and signified the driver to pull down the window, Mario sighed and did so without looking at her "hey Mr...." Tess said giving a grin pissed off by his arrogance, she recognized him "oh hi Mario...didn't know people put on their car light only when they hit a pedestrian." Mario glanced at her then looked away
"You are the one who should focus on the road when crossing" Tess chuckled, she opened the door and sat, Mario glared at her "what do you think you're doing"
"Boarding a plane...." Tess said sarcastically "what does it look like I'm doing..." She rolled her eyes and closed the door "my friends' lost...I need to go look for her.... it's too dangerous out there and she's not psychologically stable to get on track by herself.... I'm not with my car either"
"Can't she find a cab to drop her?.... besides why don't you use a cab to go get her?" Tess stared at the time on her phone and groaned
"Well I realized that since I know this place alot I can just wait till tomorrow before going to get her from where she said she is.....
besides....there are lots of taxi's here but I really love your car so I want you to drive me" Tess said in the most calm yet annoying way, Mario felt insulted
"Well I can't help you search for your friend....I'm a busy person as you know it" Tess raised two brow then dropped it and opened the door
"Oh yes I know.... being a jerk is QUITE a task" she said to herself but so he could hear, he was surprised
"Excuse me?" Tess came out and slammed the door hard to close then turned to him
"You are fully excused" she hissed and walked away back to the party, Mario chuckled in amazement then screamed, it felt like everyone was purposely trying to annoy him, he zoomed off angrily.

Tess walked quickly straight to Alfred, he was talking with other of his guys, she tapped him on the shoulder, he turned to her laughing, he looked so handsome that Tess thought he would have being the best for Taylor, he was surprised to see her
"Tess!"
"Taylor is missing" Alfred became serious
"What?!"
