"Hello Lynn...what's up?" Fredek said as he picked the call, he was with Alfred and Mario
"Hi Fred....uhm are you with the others?" Fredek looked at the two, they were all in the parlour using their laptops
"Welllll....I'm with Alfred and Mario.....we're actually in Mario's house, we spent the night here" Mario looked annoyed at Fredek, Medalyn nodded
"Okey then can you put the phone on speaker?"
"Yah sure...." He did and dropped the phone on the table where they were all working with their laptops, then he signalled them and they both stopped to listen "it's on speaker now"
"Hey Lynn how are you?" Alfred asked smiling
"Good morning Alfred, I'm doing great, and you?....hope you guys aren't too stressed out?"
"I'm fine... we're a little tired but...we can handle it though"
"You guys shouldn't stress yourselves, okey?"
"If you really care then you should cut this call and let us do what we are doing" Mario said annoyed, Fredek and Alfred gave him a warning look which he ignored
"Oh Mario....I'm sorry for disturbing"
"No Lynn it's fine...." Fredek said eyeing Mario who now started operating his phone"you were gonna say something to us"
"Yeh...uhm...I'm actually planning a surprise pool party for Darwin and I'm inviting you guys" Fredek and Alfred smiled
"We'll...." Just then Mario chuckled and then said
"She doesn't even know he hates surprise parties"
"Pardon?" Medalyn asked
"No it's nothi....." Alfred was to coat it but Mario continued
"There are so many things you don't know Medalyn.... Darwin doesn't like parties....so cut what you're doing....it's gonna be vein"
Alfred laughed
"I do give him surprise gifts in public for his birthdays at times"
"Gifts....not parties....okey.... not parties...."
"Lynn he's joking.... Darwin would love it if you do that...."
"Is it there any way we can help you out....he's also our friend" Medalyn was happy to hear that
"Thanks...I'm actually in need of some money to buy some more special dishes....cause I plan on inviting alot of people" Fredek thought for awhile, he looked at Alfred who nodded in the negative and Mario who just chuckled and cursed at him silently before taking his laptop and walking upstairs, Fredek cleared his throat
"Uhm Lynn?"
"Yes?"
"I don't think Darwin would like a lot of people in his birthday party.... we'll still give you money to prepare the special meal....but not for a large crowd....I hope you understand what I'm trying to say"
"Yeah sure.... definitely" Fredek smiled
"Thanks so much for turning him this way....he probably doesn't know today is his birthday....except you tell him"
Medalyn thought he really doesn't like parties
"Thank you for the information"
"No probs...send us your account number" Fredek answered
"Oh sure thing...thank you guys so very much "
"Bye Lynn" Alfred said smiling wide
"Bye Alfred....bye Fred....bye Mario" they all laughed at the childish way Medalyn answered, then she cut the call
"How cute" Fredek said and Alfred agreed with a tombs up.

Darwin walked up to Medalyn in the house garden, she had texted him to meet her there, she turned to him and saw he had no idea the day was actually his birthday, he looked cute in the cardigan he was wearing she smiled wide at him and he did same
"What's up, you wanna swim with me....I can pull this off right now" he said teasingly referring to his dress, Medalyn laughed and turned to face him, she became serious
"I've made up my mind.....on what you said yesterday....."
"Wait" Darwin said and smiled calmly "tell me tomorrow...today is my birthday....I know you remember" Medalyn chuckled
"Are you nervous?....that I'll say no?" Darwin nodded but Medalyn sighed, he knew she would say yes, but he felt scared for something he couldn't place
"When you told me everything yesterday...l felt startled and my...first answer was no...." Darwin felt his legs were weak now, Medalyn saw he was sweating and signalled they sit, they did, Darwin just stared at her, she could see his chest rise and drop like he was forcing himself to breathe "I felt like I was not ready for such discussion.....like you were going too fast...."
"Medalyn" he called her calmly and closed his eyes "is it a no?"
Medalyn chuckled
"Yes" Darwin thought he didn't hear clearly, will their relationship be the same after this whole drama, he bent his head and started crying silently, he chuckled and regretted asking her to marry him, Medalyn raised her two brow up, she too felt her heart pounding, she knew he would treat her differently from now on, she hoped she took the right decision,she heard him sob and bent her head to take a good glance at him, she scoffed "are you that happy?....why are you over reacting?" Darwin raised his head slowly and looked at her
"Did you just ask me that?" Medalyn chuckled
"It's not a big deal"
"What?....don't I mean something to you Medalyn?....what do you see us as" Medalyn became confused "Hun!" Medalyn thought she was imagining things, wasn't he the one who proposed
"I don't understand?.."
"What should I be happy about?....should I be happy that my girlfriend doesn't love me....that my girlfriend doesn't trust me to protect her... that you Medalyn....my girlfriend whom I thought loved me too much....would reject my proposal....which..... which reason do you want me to be happy about?" He shouted and looked away
"Darwin!" He looked away, she softly placed her palms in his hand "Darwin I said I Would marry you....I said yes" Darwin turned to her, she smiled and nodded in the positive
"I thought you said no....you answered me yes"
"Yes that is to your proposal" Darwin went stiff, he had thought for a second, she didn't love him, she laughed "wait you thought I said no....?....why would I?...." She smiled and softly touched his chin and made him face her "when I'm madly in love with you" Darwin turned red instantly as Medalyn brought her lips closer to he's, he stared at her and noticed her long eye lashes "happy birthday my love" she said and kissed him, Darwin reciprocated immediately he inhaled heavily and caressed her roughly, he helped her up without interrupting their kiss, he felt so excited, he thought this was the best birthday present ever, now he knew she was he's, "Darwin...." they released each other and laughed, he held her hand tight
"Thank you" Medalyn chuckled and nodded.
