Medalyn walked inside her class calmly not minding the fact that she could be late, Taylor and Tess ran to meet her
"Have you seen the transfer student in our department?" Taylor asked excitedly, Medalyn was to answer but Tess cut her words short excitedly also
"He's so handsome" Medalyn sat in the front row by the wall, it was her favourite spot, Tess and Taylor followed suit, Tess sat on the table while Taylor sat by Medalyn holding her by the arm "I want to be his girlfriend"
"I know I'm not in the love thing cos of the injury Alfred caused to my heart.....but I think I found a cure" Taylor said dreamingly, Medalyn Shaked her head in pity and sighed
"Well....I'd love to join you guys in this excitement but three things are stopping me" Tess and Taylor frowned, they knew among the three reasons Darwin was one "one...you should know already that I have a boyfriend who is the most handsome guy you have ever seen in this uni..."
(Uni's short for university btw)
They all knew she always used Darwin to brag "two...I've not seen this guy in question to know if I should like and shout or not"
"Trust me you would" Taylor said smiling
"In terms of character and attitude....." Medalyn emphasized "three...we are having test soon and I'm too clouded and stressed to scream for a guy" as she emphasized 'a guy' the lecturer walked in, Medalyn sighed angrily and stared at him
"Okey....everyone settle down for class" Mr Spidvil said staring at Medalyn who looked away, Tess and Taylor sat properly

Darwin smiled at Fredek's remark on his handsomeness, he looked around to see if Medalyn would walk in, the library was big but Darwin already told Medalyn where to meet him anytime she was looking for him, he saw her walk in with a guy following her, it was Collins, the guy who transfered from Darwin's department to Medalyns' department, he watched as they both laugh at Collins jokes, she searched for Darwin and finally spotted him, he hid his frown and smiled as she walked up to him, he stood and she hugged him
"Hey" he said as he helped her pull out her chair to sit, she smiled and sat
"Hi...." She looked at Fredek who waved at her she smiled "hello"
"hello darling" he smiled at Collins also and they both shaked hands, then Darwin did the same
"What's up man?"
"Congrats on your transfer" Darwin said as they both released each other and sat, Darwin held medalyn hand "didn't know you two knew each other medy" she took a glance at Collins and immediately looked at Darwin
"We went to the same elementary school and middle school"
"We were actually very close" Collins said smiling, Medalyn chuckled
"You can brag all you want, I too could have gotten a promotion if I wrote the exams" Collins nodded
"I believe you" Medalyn frowned but with a smile
"You still do that stuff, you better stop it or one day I'll help you" Collins laughed and she joined him, Darwin looked at Fredek who looked away, then back at Medalyn and Collins
"So how's your first day at my girlfriend's department" Collins stared at Medalyn to check her reaction, she chuckled and started searching for books in Darwin's bag, he looked at Darwin, Fredek took his water bottle to drink
"Does everyone know you two are dating?...." Fredek choked, Darwin smiled, Fredek then packed his things
"I need to go get good water....you guys should study well, kei?" And he left the library, Collins noticed Medalyn and Darwin's expression, he smiled
