Darwin couldn't stop thinking about all what Medalyn told him, he was preparing breakfast for her, he chuckled
"Is it that he doesn't know she has me as a boyfriend?....or he doesn't know just how protective I am?" Darwin said to himself smiling, he slowly stirred the soup he was making for her, it was a new recipe he saw in his favourite cooking channel, just then he felt a warm hug from the back
"Good morning" Medalyn said wrapping her hands round his waist, he turned to her still smiling, she was waring the shirt he placed on her bed
"Good morning....I guess buying big shirts finally comes in handy right" she smiled and released him then sat on the kitchen chair "I was to bring food to the room for you"
"You said something like that yesterday" Medalyn said and laughed slightly, she noticed the way Darwin stared at her "what is it?....I know I have morning beauty but you shouldn't stare too much...." She crossed her leg and flipped her hair "I'm taken" Darwin burst out laughing, she did too, he laughed till he got to were she was and sat on the chair close to hers
"Oh really....can I meet this guy to tell him how lucky he is to have such beautiful damsel as his woman" Medalyn moved just her eyes away and back at him almost immediately
"That got me" they both laughed again
"I'm gonna make you blush and love me more during your stay here Medy" Medalyn brought her face closer to he's but he didn't move and just stared from her eyes to her lips choosing which to focus on
"Then I'm gonna let you fall for me all over again while doing your thing" she said and smirked then sat upright bringing her face back then signalled him with her eyes and said "your food" Darwin chuckled and went to put off the cooker.
Medalyn wondered how Darwin could cook so well, they were in the dinning and she almost wanted to rush the food but she could feel Darwin constantly staring at her rather than eating, she got tired and dropped her spoon then looked at him, he quickly continued eating
"Is there a problem Darwin?" Darwin looked at her and nodded in the negative
"No....why?" Medalyn chuckled
"I could literally feel you boring tiny holes on my face with your eyes" he adjusted on the chair
"Are you gonna go to school today?" Medalyn looked away, she took a bit from the egg and shrugged without saying anything, Darwin could read her so easily, he held her hand "you don't have to if you don't want to......" She looked at him "missing class once won't change anything" she swallowed
"I want to go....besides Taylor and Tess would be worried about me since I didn't see or call them last night and....I may not have his class today" he smiled and nodded
"That's my strong girl" he said and she laughed a bit, he released her hand and they both continued eating when he said to himself "I'm already falling for you all over again" Medalyn looked at him but he didn't look back, she heard him, she blushed
"Thanks for the food" she said waiting for him to look back at her, he did and smiled
"Anything" they smiled at each other "eat up" she nodded and they continued eating.

Medalyn looked at her cloth, Darwin had ordered casual cloths for her last night, she smiled and walked inside the class, immediately Tess saw her she alerted Taylor and they both ran to her with worried faces, Tess wrapped her hand round medalyns
"Meddddd...how are you?" She asked worriedly "Taylor told me you were crying yesterday when you came out of Mr Spidvil's office...." Medalyn gave a faint smile and looked at the floor
"Where did you go?....I was calling you but you just ran off....we both searched for you but didn't see you...I even tried calling you" Medalyn looked at them
"I went to Darwin" Tess and Taylor nodded calmly, Tess signalled they go sit still holding Medalyn hand, they all sat at their usual spot "I'm sorry guys...I just needed some space"
"Oh really....nd you meet Darwin" Tess said teasing Medalyn to laugh, she did while Taylor chuckled
"Im really sorry for not answering your calls also.... Darwin switched it off....there's.... something I'm actually avoiding" Taylor sighed
"At least you can laugh" Medalyn looked at her and smiled then the lecturer came in and they all had to settle down.

Darwin buried his face on his phone while the other boys practiced their basketball in the basketball court, Miguel noticed, he was one of the most popular guys in the university, known for his money rather than handsomeness though, he walked to Fredek who seemed like the only one close to Darwin and who could talk one-on-one with him
"Hey what's wrong with Darwin?....it's weird not seeing him practice when we have a competition soon" Fredek already knew it was because of Medalyn, he looked at Darwin operating his phone calmly and focused then he looked back at Miguel and smiled
"I'll go talk to him" Miguel nodded and went back to continue practising with the others, Darwin was always reserved among them, every guy wanted to be his friend, and every girl wanted him to notice her, but he just laughed and talked when necessary, other than that he's either with Medalyn or Fredek or he's reading or listening to music
"Hey what's up?...." Fredek said as he walked closer to Darwin "how's Medalyn doing?" They both did their friendly hand shake and Fredek sat by him, Darwin now stared at the rest playing
"She's living with me now" Fredek gave a surprised look "I know I shouldn't but I want to protect her best I can...."
"Protect her from what?....did she tell you why she cried yesterday?" Darwin nodded, he sighed
"She says one lecturer is her uncle......"
"O...kei?"
"And he's being making things difficult for her...." Darwin chuckled "he's been making advances on her...." He remembered Collins and smirked "he's been hitting on my girlfriend" Fredek Sighed
"What's his name?"
"Mr Spidvil"
"Really?....Mr Spidvil!" Darwin looked at Fredek
"You know him?" Fredek nodded and picked a half filled water bottle by his side and opened it
"He's the youngest lecturer here, and very well connected....some girls even buy him valentine gifts and.....female lecturers...... they try to be in his best book" Fredek said and chuckled "so your girlfriend is the reason he hasn't gotten married Hun?" Darwin just stared at Fredek who drank from the water and smiled
"What do you want us to do about him" he said and looked at Darwin.
