Sam chuckled and smiled as he looked at Bucky. Bucky just adored and admired the force of a man that was in front of him.

Sam just smiled to himself and pulled Buckys hood over his head. "You're too cute." Sam said. Bucky chuckled to himself and sighed.

"I'm glad I am. Helps with the charm?" Bucky said as he looked at the water around him as the rain continued to fall. Sam just laughed and sighed.

"I guess so."

Bucky extended his hand to him. "Wanna head back? The rain is getting heavier." Sam looked at his hand and nodded as he took it into his.

Darlene sat in the house and watched the TV. She had finally found a channel that wasn't talking about Sam's crash.

Eventually the door opened and Bucky walked in with Sam. Darlene looked at the two of them. She noticed there was hand holding. She raised a brow as she watched them.

Bucky walked with Sam into their room and closed the door. Darlene walked over to the room and knocked on the door.

Sam opened the door. "Hey mom. I actually was going to come out here and chat with you." He said as he motioned to Bucky to stay in the room.

Bucky nodded and stayed there.

Darlene looked at him. As he walked with her. "Are you okay?" She asked with concern. Sam looked at her and nodded. "I'm okay... I'm doing better." He said as he sat down with her.

She nodded as she took his hand into hers. He squeezed her hand. "I'm sorry I worried you mom..."

"No no... you're good sweetie. I was just worried about you physically and mentally. I was preparing for the worst. You seem to be doing okay." She said.

"I'm okay. Sore and tired, I'm mentally exhausted but it's nothing I can't fix." He said with a soft smile.

She nodded and sighed as she hugged him tightly. "I'm so happy you're okay." She said.

"You would've gotten second alongside Buckys first place." She said. Sam was surprised. He didn't know Bucky got first, but he would bring that up later.

"Yeah... I would've." He pulled from the hug and sighed. "We also kissed."

His mothers jaw dropped. "What!?"

"Twice."

"WHAT!?" She said jumping up. Sam sighed with a chuckle, knowing this was going to be her reaction. Sam looked at the door. "Bucky!"

Bucky came out of the room. "Have you kissed me?" Sam asked. Bucky smiled and chuckled. "Twice. And I will happily again." Bucky said.

Darlene squealed and jumepdnaorind excitedly. She grabbed Bucky and Sam and hugged them both.

"Oh finally you two are dating!!!" She said. Bucky looked at her surprised and then at Sam who was also surprised.

"He hasn't asked me out yet." Sam said. Darlene looked at the two of them surprised. "Oh! Sorry! I was excited." She said with smiles.

Bucky rubbed his neck and looked at Sam. Sam just smiled and then looked at his mom. "It's okay mom. Don't worry." He said with a chuckle.

Darlene just was happier. "Oh I'm so glad things are going better than I anticipated." She sighed and looked at the clock.

"You two! Head to bed. It's late!" She shooed them away as she went to her excitedly. She immediately told her husband everything.

Bucky walked with Sam back to his room. Bucky stretched and laid on the couch. Sam got changed, and then noticed where Bucky was.

Sam walked over to him and looked at him. Bucky looked back at him. "Yes?"

"Why are you sleeping on the couch?" Sam asked.

"Cause you need to rest up and heal." Bucky said. Sam raised a brow. "Last I checked, my healing isn't inhibited because you're gonna be next to me."

Bucky sat up and looked at him. "You want me to sleep next to you?"

Sam rolled his eyes and walked back over to the bed. "Okay. You can sleep on the couch tough guy." He said as he sat on the bed. He winced as he laid down and held his head.

He closed his eyes and relaxed into the bed. Bucky got up and walked over to the other side of the bed and laid down. He got under the blanket and relaxed a lot more than how he was on the couch.

Sam laid on his side with his eyes closed. Bucky looked at him and smiled softly. "Night Sam."

"Night Bucky."

The next morning, Buckys phone was ringing. He groaned as he reached for it when he felt someone against him. As he answered his phone he realized Sam was asleep against him now.

"Where are you?!" Natasha said on the other line. Bucky remembered he didn't let her know. "Oh shit... sorry Natasha. I'm at Sam's." He said tiredly. He kept Sam next to him.

"I should've known." She said with relief in her voice. "How is He?"

"He's doing better. He's laying right here sleeping." He said as quietly as possible. He covered Sam with the blanket more, making sure he was warm and fully covered.

"Alright. Sounds good..." Natasha sighed. "Okay... well. I'll leave you both alone for the time being. See yah later." She hung up.

Bucky put his phone down and wrapped his arm around Sam gently. He made sure to to keep him comfortable. He knew Sam liked physical touch so, he keep him close. Bucky  closed his eyes and started to fall back asleep.

Sam moved slightly and opened his eyes slightly. He saw Bucky, and smiled softly. Sam enjoyed the warmth, and the feeling of having someone else there with him.

It made his feeling of loneliness disappear. He felt safe here. He felt better....

He knew Bucky was a good person. He knew Bucky was very good word in the book you can imagine. And well...

Sam liked people who were like this.

He just closed his eyes and fell back asleep and stayed asleep.
