Steve watched and frowned. He walked back to his pits with John. "I can't touch them now..." he said annoyed.

John nodded. "Yeah. If you mess with them, their teams will not hold back."

Steve sat down on the counter in his pits and crossed his arms. "I don't know how else to get rid of them... I guess I could hire people..." he said.

John looked at him. "That's not a Bad idea... hire some people to set either one of them straight."

Steve nodded slightly. "I'll do that myself." John nodded and waved as he left. Something clattered behind Steve. He suddenly looked and frowned.

He didn't need anyone hearing him. He walked towards the back of the pits and saw that some cups hit the floor. He looked up and frowned.

As he was about to continue further he heard his team principal calling for him. He frowned and headed out.

A person came out of hiding. It was Peggy. Her hands were shaking as she realized what her husband was doing. Things were clicking. She didn't think he would sent out hired workers, but if he did... she had proof to sent him away.

She went out another exit but accidentally stumbled into someone. "Ow!" She said as she hit the ground.

"Peggy?" She looked up and saw Bucky. She simply got up and rushed away from him and Sam. The two looked at each other confused.

"Weird. Probably best we didn't mention anything to Steve If we see him." Bucky said as he walked into his paddock with Sam. Bucky sat on the counter and sighed. He placed his trophy on the table and unzipped his race suit open and pulled it off.

Sam did the same. They were both tired. Bucky glanced at Sam and just smiled softly. "You did good today." Bucky said. Sam looked at him and shook his head.

"I did normal. You're the one who sprinted from 14th back to first, and left Steve back in 10th." Sam said as he walked over to him.

Sam stood in front of him as Bucky sat on the counter. "Well... today I had to win. Or I wouldn't have asked you out." Bucky said with a slight smirk.

"Oh?" Sam said as he stepped towards him. Bucky just gazed at him. "Yep."

"Ah... so today was a very important race for my boyfriend then?" Sam said as he gently grazed buckys waist with his hand.

Bucky smiled at Sam calling him his boyfriend. "Yeah... probably my most important race." He said as he placed his arms on his shoulders.

Sam smiled softly at him and sighed. "I doubt it."

Darlene started to walked towards the paddock with the family. She had them all be quiet. She was about to step in when she heard them talking.

She stopped the family from barging in. She smiled softly hearing them talk. She motioned the family to back up and give them some space.

Bucky kissed Sam's cheek. "We can talk more later." Sam nodded as he backed up. As he did his mom came in with flowers.

"Congratulations boys!!" Darlene said with a bright smile. She hugged her son tightly and then Bucky.

Everyone cheered. She handed the boys flowers and was tearing up. "Mom are you okay?" Sam said concerned.

She chuckled and nodded. "Oh yes! I am just so happy!" She Said as she wiped her eyes. Sam stared at this loving family. Something in him ached as he realized that his own family only came to see him twice.

Now, he had a restraining order against his father, his mother was losing her mind, and his sister wanted nothing to do with him.

He suddenly snapped out of it as he felt Sam hold his hand as he spoke to his mother. Bucky squeezed his hand and then looked down so no one would see him tearing up.

Everyone left letting the two get ready to come back to the hotels. Bucky turned the lights off in his paddock. He saw Sam and was going to say something when he heard someone walking behind him. He turned and saw his mother and sister.

"Mom? Becca? Everything alright?" He said as she extended something to him. He held whatever she gave him and realized they were airplane tickets.

He looked at her. "We're heading back to Indiana." She said. Bucky looked at her. "Really?"

"Yes. I Need to take care of your father, and you sister needs to head back to school." Bucky teared up and nodded. He handed her the tickets.

"Alright... well. Have safe travels." He said. She nodded and just looked at him. This felt like a forever goodbye. She stepped towards him and rubbed his cheek as tears went down his face.

"You did well today..." he held her wrist and closed eyes tightly as tears ran down his face.

Sam stayed a bit behind him.

Bucky knew this was goodbye... for good. He hugged his mother tightly. She hugged him back and rubbed his back. "I wish I could've been your mother..."

She stepped back and simply turned her back to him and walked away. Becca waved bye to him and walked with her mother.

Bucky covered his face as they left and cried in his hands. He no longer had his family.

They were gone.

Sam walked over to bucky and hugged him tightly. Bucky held onto Sam and hid his head in his shoulder and cried. "I'm sorry..." Sam said.

Bucky just didn't understand what he did wrong. The two stayed there until Bucky calmed down just a bit more.

He was on his own, he was relieved but angry about it at the same time. Sam held his hand as the two walked to the parking lot. "Tell me how you're feeling." Sam said.

"Angry... sad... free..." he said as he squeezed Sam's hand. Sam understood and sighed. "It'll get better. Okay?"

"I know."
