Sam didn't want to go to the hospital. He was having a lot of emotions due to the crash. He didn't know how to feel in that moment.

His family got him back to the hotel. Bucky came along with them but he stayed quiet for a bit while observing.

Sam just walked into his room and closed the door. Sarah turned the TV on and saw Sam's crash. It was on every channel, and it showed Bucky rushing over to the crash.

Bucky watched it for a moment. Darlene sat down and just watched the crash. She teared yo watching it. Bucky simply sat next to her and turned the TV off. "It's not good for you to watch this. He's alive... and he's in that room over there." Bucky said.

She nodded. She just covered her face and teared up a bit. She was freaking out internally over how her son crashed. She couldn't stand it.

Bucky simply wrapped and arm around her. She just looked up slightly. "Please... go be with my son. I would but I'm in no condition to see him." She said.

Bucky nodded and got up. He carefully covered her with a blanket and headed over to Sam's room. He knocked on the door. He didn't hear any confirmation he could come in, but he carefully entered.

Sam was sitting by the window looking outside. Bucky closed the door behind him as he walked into the room. He walked over to Sam and sat next to him silently. Bucky looked at Sam slightly and noticed his hand shaking slightly.

Bucky reached over and held his hand. Sam squeezed his hand tightly as he watched outside. Sam looked at him as Bucky continued to look out the window as it started to rain.

"You are a blessing..." Sam said. Bucky looked at him. "Hm?"

"You're a blessing in my life." Sam said. Bucky looked at him a bit surprised. "A blessing? I wouldn't go that far." He said with a chuckle.

"You are." Sam said. Bucky didn't want to sit here and be told he was a blessing. Bucky turned towards him and rubbed Sam's knuckles gently in his hands.

"You are a blessing, Sam." Bucky said. Sam looked at him surprised.

"You came into my life and derailed it. But you put it on a better track... you helped me get better, you pushed me, you cared for me, you defended me, you..." Bucky chuckled and sighed. "... you were the blessing in my life."

Sam teared up and looked down. "I didn't do much Bucky..."

Bucky lifted his chin gently. "Oh Sam... you did so much. So much that I don't know how to ever repay you." Sam just hugged him tightly.

Bucky hugged him tightly and realized he never wanted to lose this man. He wouldn't know what would happen if he did, and he never intended to find out.

"I'll protect you for once... okay?" Bucky said as he kept Sam close. Sam just nodded and stayed in his warmth, basking in his life.

Bucky pulled from the hug gently. He looked at him. "Want to go for a walk? Get some air?"

Sam's leg was hurting a bit, but he wanted to get out of the room. Sam nodded and pushed himself to stand up.

Bucky helped him. He grabbed Sam's jacket and helped him put it on. Bucky pulled his on and his shoes on. Sam never took his off.

Bucky held the door open for him as he walked out. Everyone saw him. Darlene stood up. Sam just smiled tiredly.

"I'm okay mom... I'm just going to clear my head. Okay?" She nodded as she watched him walked out. Bucky looks at her giving her a reassuring look.

The door closed.

She felt better about the fact that she was going with Bucky.

Bucky and Sam walked down the street. Sam was silent, and Bucky was too. His kept his hood on so the rain would get his hair went.

Sam ended stumbled over to a beach. It wasn't so pretty because of the rain. The waves were large and fierce. Sam took his hood off and just closed his eyes and let the water hit his face.

Bucky watched from behind him. He simply let Sam have some peace. Sam opened his eyes and then turned to look at Bucky.

Bucky looked at him. "I'll stay here and be silent until you want me to leave." Bucky said to him.

Sam just looked at him.

"Whatever you want from me..." Bucky said as the rain his face. "... I will give it to you."

Sam smiled tiredly.

"Whatever encouragement you want, I'll give it to you! I promise I'll try my hardest to find it and give it to you." Bucky Said as the wind blew his hoodie off his head.

Sam stepped towards him and held his face gently. He rubbed the bruise on bucky's face from getting punched.

"I just need you."

Buckys eyes widened at that. Sam teared up and chuckled. "I just need you... your conversations, your jokes, your company.... Everything." Sam said

Bucky held Sam's hand tightly. He simply lifted it and kissed it gently. Sam chuckled and sighed as he turned back towards the water.

"I was given a blessing."'Sam said loud enough for Bucky to hear him. Bucky looked at and stepped towards him.

"I'm glad you kissed me at the gala." Sam said. Bucky paused and looked at him. Sam turned towards him slightly.

"Motivated me to win that race. I really wanted to win that race so that you know I could get first..." Sam said as he chuckled.

"thought maybe it would get your attention again-"

Bucky just walked over to him and kissed him again. Sam was surprised but closed his eyes and held his face gently. Rain fell all around them, hitting their faces in the process.

Bucky broke the kiss slightly and just put his forehead against Sam's. "You have my attention... you always have attention. Plus..."

Bucky looked at him.

"You've had it since you walked into my house months ago."
