Natasha sat on the couch watching TV. She was watching a news channel talking about her, and how she shouldn't even have been at the gala.

She held her head as she did. She truly knew they had nothing else Better to do. That kinda made her mad. She didn't do anything inherently wrong... hell she didn't do a damn thing wrong.

But despite that, they still painted her as the villain who ruined Ferrari, even though her father was still there.

She zoned out so much she didn't even notice her fathers walk in. Sam noticed what she was watching and turned it off.

"I was watching that." She Said as she looked at him annoyed. Bucky simply listened for the time being as he took his jacket off.

"It's not good for you. Listening to those dumbasses it's only going to make you feel worse." He said thinking back to his younger years.

"I wish you guys could've been more open with me about some things..." she said. Sam listened as he took his jacket off.

"I mean... the past is the past. It was your fathers and I's and it was not good, but you shouldn't be telling us to be more open when you still haven't even talked to us about anything." Sam said as he hung up his jacket.

"It's because it's nothing to worry about." She said. Sam looked at her. "Are you even hearing yourself right now?"

She looked at him.

"You're saying the exact opposite of what you want me to do. You can't even follow the advice you give us." He said as he took his dress shoes.

"Why would you even care about what's going on in my life? You guys don't tell me anything,"

"We do! We tell you a lot. We only ask that you return the favor so we can see where we can help you.... We've been dealing with life a lot longer than you kiddo." Sam said.

"Oh you wanna know what I'm dealing with!?" She stood up. The floodgates were opening.
"I am being constantly dragged on the media, being labeled the villain of F1. I am being bullied... harassed! People stop me and make fun of me in the street... not like you would understand..." she said with anger and sadness in her voice.

Sam knew all too well what she was dealing with... Bucky as well. He sighed and held his head.

"I understand-"

"Do you? I don't see you getting bullied at all. Everyone loves you and dad for being legends. You guys have it good." She said as she stepped towards him.

"You guys have it nice... at least you aren't a woman and getting ripped to shreds in the news!" She said as she averted her gaze.

Sam was going to say something when Bucky sighed. "Natasha... everything you Just Said... isn't true. In the past we had struggles you won't have to deal with." Bucky said as she looked at her.

Natasha was going to say something but Sam shook his head. "I thought I raised you better." He said as he looked at her.

She looked at him as she saw sadness on his face. "You think we doing know? Everything was hard for us! We were harassed, bullied, assaulted and degraded for simply being together. I was the only black racer on the grid for years and you tell me that I don't know?"

She listened.

"I- we... didn't tell you our past in F1 because it's not important to your career as a racer. Things back then were harder, things back then were worse, things back then were more deadly." Sam said as he sat down.

" you still could have told me... so that I could understand what I'm getting into better.. " She Said as she started to her room. "Natasha..."

"Goodnight, Dad."  She snapped at him. She slammed her door behind her, leaving Bucky and Sam there.

Bucky walked over and sat next to him. "You were such a great help." Sam said sarcastically. Bucky chuckled slightly at that.

He really didn't know how to help with this. He just wrapped an arm around him and kissed his cheek.

"We should've told her all this years ago..."

"She was a Child Then who didn't know how the world was just yet. Telling her then would've probably caused more problems." Bucky said as he kept him close.

Sam shrugged and held his head. "I just feel so bad at this.."

Bucky looked at him and shook his head. "Don't say that... you're a good father. We're just not perfect."

Sam knew they weren't perfect. But he was trying. Ever since Natasha got into racing, her and him had been butting heads.

Especially when she became a teenager, she just didn't want to talk to him. He struggles so much with communicating with her, and she doesn't put much into trying to talk to him.

The entire family was having their issues with this.

Sam just leaned his head against Buckys shoulder and teared up. "Should we talk to her about all the shit that happened..."

"Not right now, it would overwhelm her and us." Bucky said. Sam sighed.

"Let's head to bed."

"Okay."

The next morning, Natasha woke up and headed out before the other two woke up. She headed to the headquarters with Maria's dress.

She knocked on her door. "Come in!" Maria Said. Natasha stepped in and held up the dress.

"Here's your dress-" she paused when she saw her aunt.

"Hey Natasha." the redhead said with a soft smile.

"Auntie..." Natasha said as she looked at the woman who kissed Maria's head.

"See you at the track in a few days." Maria nodded and watched her wife walk out. Maria stood and took the dress from Natasha's hands.

"Thank you for bringing it back. You ready to go get your car ready?"

Natasha smiled a bit and nodded.

"Of course I am."
