Bucky was able to go home the next day, and so was Clara. Clara stayed with Natasha and Kylo,
And of course Bucky with Sam.

Clara watched Natasha mess around on her simulator. Natasha just kept doing poorly and Natasha was getting frustrated.

Kylo was trying to watch and see where she was struggling but he wasn't experienced enough to see. "I don't know Natasha..."

She sighed and held her head. She saw her dad's name in front of her. "I don't know then..." she said as she got up.

"Maybe you should ask him?" Clara asked.

"No." Natasha said as she walked over to the mini kitchen. "Why not?" She asked.

"Because I don't need to. I can figure it out." Natasha said as she got a drink from the mini fridge. Clara looked at Kylo and he just shrugged.

"How is he?" She then asked.

"Last I checked, he's okay. He can walk, and his head isn't spinning." She said quickly.

"That's good..." Clara said. She didn't understand why Natasha had this sudden switch. Last season her and her father were on good terms, now... it's mortal enemies some how.

"What happened to you and your dad..." Kylo asked, beating Clara to the punch.

Natasha looked at him. She gripped her drink slightly and then looked at it. "I...." She was going to say something when someone knocked at their door.

Natasha quickly went to open it. She saw Sam. "Oh, dad. What's up?" She said.

Sam sighed and smiled. "Would you be willing to have dinner with your father and I?"

"Sure, can I bring-"

"Just you." Sam said quickly. Natasha looked at him confused.

"Well... we haven't done anything really as a family in a bit." Sam said that was simply asking for a calm night as a family.

Natahsa sighed and nodded. "Where and time?"

"The hotel restaurant since your father is still iffy and 7?" He said.

"Alrighty."

Sam nodded and hugged her before heading down to his room.

7 rolled around. Sam and Bucky were at the restaurant. Sam was sipping on champagne since he was trying to relax, but Bucky didn't have a drink.

He was still paranoid from the gala. As Bucky was about to text Natasha, she walked over. "Hey guys." She said as she sat down.

Sam smiled as he felt a wave of relief rush over him. "Hey honey! How are you?"

"I'm good. Tired, but good. You?" She said.

"I'm alright. Been helping your father." He said as Bucky looked at her. The two looked at each other but didn't say a thing.

Sam cleared his throat. "Let's order?"

Natasha ordered champagne and ordered some pasta.

Sam ordered a soup and Bucky ordered a salad.

No one spoke at the table. They ate in silence. Sam didn't know what to say, and Bucky didn't want to get Natasha mad like she was earlier.

"I was looking forward to racing today." Bucky said trying to break the tension at the table.  "I bet you were." Natasha said as she sipped her champagne.

"You were just going to win again." She said as she took another bite of her food.

Bucky sighed and held his head. "That's not my fault Natasha."

"Yeah..." she said as she took another bite of her food. "It does get annoying over time." She said.

Bucky stared at his plate. He knew it did... most people in the grid besides the juniors didn't like him. Cause he won all the time... he wished he could lose but he was the best.

"I know..."

"At least you know." She said as she finished her champagne.

"Maybe you'd be able to beat me if you were able to take some criticism." He said as he took a bite of his food.

Natasha looked at him. "I don't want your help..."

"Oh trust me I understand that. So damn stubborn... sadly you got that from me." He said as he couldn't take another bite of his food.

"Then why do you keep offering your help when I don't want it!?" She snapped.

"Cause I want you to win! You think I enjoy being on top all the time? This job is monotonous when you're on top! I've been preaching to you since you joined this industry to learn from your seniors and to be taught, but you don't want to listen to me!" Bucky said.

Natahsa glared. "Wow... the guy on top is complaining? Who would've thought... racing has been easy for you. You have been on the same team for all your life! You have 11 world championships and you're tired of being on top? Selfish much?"

Bucky clenched his fist. "It was not easy for me..."

"Then how come you were a champion your second year in f1?" She said as she looked at him.

"There is a difference from things being easy, and beings a natural from learning..." Bucky said as he looked at her.

"Guys-"  Sam said starting to interject.

"Both made everything easy for you. I've been dealing with hell since I got here. I've never been on top, and you're complaining about it?! Why do you think I don't want your help..." she raised her voice.

"Natasha..."

"You've had everything in this industry from the beginning." She was starting to talk in anger.

"Natasha..."  Bucky said holding his head, trying to stay calm.

"I don't need your help, I don't want your help. I don't need you-"

"NATASHA!" Bucky yelled.

She paused. "Don't aim your frustrations at me. I've been doing since I was 18. I've been racing for 27 years... I've been the face of this industry for 25 years, I've been dealing with the good and bad since the beginning... I have every right to be wanting more competition. So don't you sit there and tell me it was 'easy' for me..." Bucky was so mad he felt he could cry.

"This was far from easy for me." Bucky said as he stood. He walked out and went outside of the hotel.

Sam held his head and teared up slightly. "How did we get here..."

"What..." Natasha asked quietly.

"How did we get to this point where you see your father as the enemy!?" Sam said in defeat. "I understand getting frustrated with a bad season, but that isn't his fault... and he's offering solutions and you don't want to listen to him! He wants you to win!"  Sam said looking at her.

Natasha simply got up and pushed her chair in.

"You won't get it."
