"Maaaaaaaaaaason!" Nathan called from downstairs.

"Coming!" I said in reply, hoping that he wouldn't make a 'thats what she said' joke.

The morning rays shined in from the door in which Nathan was holding open.

I slumped to where he was standing in my plad pajama pants and wifebeat.

"Why did you call me?" I asked Nathan, who gestured at the door.

I peaked out, and for some reason, I was pleased to see it was Ludus.

Her red hair was tied in a bun and she wore worn overalls a red t-shirt and yellow converse.

"Hey, Ludus" I said in mono-tone.

"Mason I can't come here for next weekend like we planned so we need to work on the project either now or never."

I nodded in understanding and gestured for her to come inside.

"Oooh I get it, you're sister invited you to the concert, thats why next weekend you can't come" I said in realization when Ludus explained.

"Yes!" she said balling up her fists and kicking her feet her eyes closed all the while.

"Are you having a seizure?" I asked in legitimate concern.

She sat up rolling her green orbs to the back of her head.

"Its called a fangirl moment dumbass."

I began laughing to an extant.
"Y-you loo-looked l-like a d-dying rabit." I choked between laughs.

Ludus sat across from me, at first she tried to look serious but she gave in and began lauging as well.

When we had collected ourselves Lidus spoke again.

"Mason, are we friends?"

As I thought about it I realised i never considered it. Eventually though I answered.

"Yes."

With a devious playful grin Ludus replied,

"if thats true would you be okay with ,this?" she said jokingly pressing her lips to mine.

I heard footsteps dangerously close to my door until it was open.

"Hey Mason I was wondering if-" a bag dropped to the floor as Ludus pushed herself up laughing until she saw the girl in the doorframe.

Her face lit up red " Jannet right? It is not what it looks like, I don't like Mason that way I was just kidding around " Ludus tried.

I still lay on the ground trying to process what in the hell just happened.

"Jannet wait!" I hear Ludus call desperately followed by the sobs of Jannet along with the footsteps of each of them trailing down the stairs.

I began sitting up knowing at this point I needed to help my friends.

When I was steady on my feet I ran out following in the girls' tracks.
