Nathan turned to face an expectant Ludus and I.

A wide smile spread across his face as he brought his hand up to high five me.

His smile faded and his eyes widened. "Mason, what exactly was in that tray?"

"Some weird noodle thing kinda like that weird tuna thing mom makes for din-"

I looked up to see both Nathan and Ludus staring at me with a, have-you-really-not-peiced-this-together-dumb-ass-? Look.

Nathan rolled his eyes and said he was going to order a pizza.

I shrugged and began to make My way to my room.

I flopped onto my bed,reaching under it to grab My sketchbook.

I flipped to a blank page. I sighed,looking up as I did, only to jump at Ludus, who was in my doorframe.

"What the hell?!" I screamed.

Ludus didn't answer, she was busy looking at the sketchbook in curiosity.

"Hey!My eyes are up here!" I yelled again,gesturing to My eyes With My index and middle finger.

This time,she looked up.

"What's That?" She asked, pointing to My sketchbook.

"The book of, none-of-your-damn-buisness." I answered.

Instead of her leaving me alone,like I intended her to, she snatched it from My hands.

She flipped through the pages, against My whining and protests, until she landed on one.

She smiled at the drawing.

"Aww Mason has a wittle crush!" She smirked.

My face turned crimson.
"I do Not!" I replied childishly.

Ludus raised an eyebrow.

"Than explain this." She said, turning the book toward me so I could see the sketch of Jannet, vibrant with colored pencil.

"Jannet's My friend." I said,touching My cheek.

Why am I still blushing?

The doorbell filled the house with an annoying repetative ding.

Nathan could be heard stumbling to the door.

The door closed, as soon as it did Nathan yelled "Dinner bitches!"

Ludus and I alike ran down the stairs, like children awaiting presents from santa.

We practically tackled him, earning a skeptical look from Nsthan.

Ludus and I shrugged it off running to the table eagerly.

Plates were layed out on the table, and were soon filled with New York style pizza slices.

It was not soon after we had All taken greedy forst bites That Ludus slapped her forehead.

"What the hell?" I asked at the sudden outburst.

"Well, I forgot two of the most important things in My life right now. 1, Taylor My little sister, 2, the concert ticket contest." She stated, while scurrying around for her stuff.

"You forgot about your little sister?!" I exclaimed in utter amaze.

She rolled her eyes,

"She gets home late because of baseball practice so she wasn't there when I left the house, so yeah I forgot her."

She straigtened up,grabbing her belongings.

"Take some pizza with you," Nathan interjected,"We can't eat it All."

Ludus smiled, nodding.

Soon enough, she held her bag and a tuperware full of pizza as she bid us good night.
