The hours until lunch dragged on like chains against a stone floor.
When the clock hands hit 12:35 I practicaly flew out the door.
I looked for the regular table me and 'the gang' sat every day for the past three years.
Thankfully Ludus was'nt there, but another unfamiliar face sat with the others.
As I neared Jannet waved a giant grin on her face.
I sat sandwhiched between Steven and Claire.
"who's this?" I asked gesturing at the girl with straight blonde hair, clad in a leather jacket, dark denim jeans, and a Resses crop top.
"This Is Julisha Sanders." Jannet introduced.
Julisha winked at me, and I could swear in the corner of My Eye I saw Jannet glaring.
Nathen inturupted us by plopping into a seat along with his boyfriend Mark, each holding hands.
"Hey Julisha!" Nathan said as he sat.
Mark waved in her direction pulling a book out of his bookbag. Though he loved sports more than his own mother, he was a nerd at heart.
Suddenly we were talking about new teachers and students when Nathan asked, What do you think about That girl Ludus?"
Claire leaned in a bit over the table looking at all of us and started "When me and Jannet were walking with her she put in her earbuds and we asked her what she was listening to, She revealed That she was listening to the forbidden band!"
"You don't mean...?
Derek asked, eyes wide
"Yes!" Claire answered
"One Direction!"
