Ludus p.o.v
I sat on one of the royal blue benches inside the car area. My ear buds were placed promptly in my ears, blasting Midnight Memories.
Suddenly my mom's blue mini van pulled into the car area. As I got in my mom asked, "How was your day sweetie?" I nodded and muttered 'good'.
She drove silently.
The one observation I'd made since dad left was mom's silence, she never over spoke.

I opened the door to our simple one story house dropping my bookbag om the floor.
My 8 year old sister rammed into my leg. "Ludus is home!"
I rolled my eyes at her enthusiasm but smiled. "Hey Taylor, hows math?"
Her eyes wandered as she replied with a shrug.
"Do you have homework?"
She nodded her head slowly, still looking away.
I playfully picked her up and ran to the table.
"Than lets get started!"
