My fingers tapped on the cold table's surface as I waited ainxiously for Jannet's arrival.

I checked my phone's clock repeatedly.

God what am I doing? I look like a crazy person. I thought when I realised I was breathing heavy.

I looked out of the glass window of the frozen yogurt place when I saw a small wave, it was gone as quickly as it came so I shrugged it off.

"Hey Mason."

I jumped at Jannet who was standing in front of me.

She looked down at her feet ,like she was nervous or embarrassed.

"Hey Jannet, I got your favorite flavor frozen yogurt!" I said trying to lighten the mood.

When she sat I slid the cup of yogurt to her.

"I'm really sorry for last Friday."
She said clenching her fists, somthing she did when she had somthing important to say.

"Its j-just I um, well..." she tried.

I put my hand on her clenched fist with a caring smile, "Its okay tell me when you're ready to tell me."

She nodded silently. "If its okay, can I ask you a few questions?"

She nodded again silently, so I began my story.

After I explained Jannet had an angry expression along with a crimson blush.

"God I'm going to kill him." she muttered under her breath.

I raised an eyebrow "You know who called me using your phone?"

She nodded again, this time stating clearly, "Yes, and when I get home I am going to kill him."

Before I could question her further, my phone buzzed.

I looked at Jannet, who just smiled gesturing for me to check it.

Mom: Get home, quick we have somthing important to tell you.

I shut off the screen before adressing Jannet.

"Is it okay if we eat our yogurt on the walk? I've got to be heading home."

She smiled before saying, "Yeah I'd love that."

On the way home Jannet explained that the guy who called me was her older brother who was visiting from his tech school in California, apparently he wasn't as tough as he made himself seem on the phone. In fact according to Jannet he was only inches taller than me.

When we did get to my door we held empty frozen yogurt cups and laughing hysterically at Jannet's description of her brother.

I turned the knob on the front door and pushed it open.

A bunch of mixed voices centered in the living room, in which me and Jannet walked to giggling all the way.

I was confused at what I saw, Ludus and Nathan sat on the couch accompanied by a small blonde girl.

Ludus and Nathan looked just as confused, and as for the little girl, she was attempting to braid Ludus's hair.

"Mom texted us all to meet here," Nathan said, waving at Jannet.

"She said not to bring anyone besides Ludus and her sister so I think Jannet needs to leave."

Jannet nodded, a closed mouth smile on her face she began walking to the front door.

She was stopped by my mom's voice calling after her.

"Its okay Jannet you can stay too."

A/n: hai loves, how's summer going? Good? Boring? Okay fine I'm stalling because I'm sad because there will only be a few more chapters ;-; but don't worry as always I have much, much more to come.
