The kitchen was filled with the lingering smell of damp pipes and old food as Celia made a quick appearance, rolling up her sleeves to help Eva wrestle with the stubborn garbage disposal. The metallic clangs and rattles echoed as they tried to clear the blockage.

"Thanks for your help, Celia," Eva said, her voice tired but appreciative. "I can't imagine what could've caused this mess to back up so badly."

Celia wiped her hands on her pants and smirked, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "I can. Looks like someone's been stuffing unpaid parking tickets in here. What a terrible way to punish the disposal."

Eva threw her hands up, laughing softly despite the chaos. "Hey, don't look at me! I don't even have a license."

Y/N, leaning against the counter with a playful grin, added, "That hasn't stopped you from driving—or flying the occasional 747, as far as I know."

Celia shot her a mock glare. "No license here either. The DMV revoked mine after that little drag racing incident."

Hartley swept into the room with a bright smile, trying to lighten the mood. "Alright, enough work talk, Grandma. It's Mother's Day weekend. Time to relax and enjoy."

Celia chuckled, stretching out his arms. "Yeah, relaxing is all about getting the crud out of pipes, right?" Celia groaned. "This thing's going to need a longer snake than usual. Time to fetch the 15-footer."

Hartley, sitting quietly in the corner, looked up with a puzzled expression. "Hey, I need some help. I don't know what to get Grandma for Mother's Day."

Y/N smiled warmly. "Just get her something useful. Like a cozy nightgown... or maybe a hatchet."

Hartley blinked, confused by the suggestion. "Wait—there's a whole day for getting gifts for mothers? And when do I get mine?"

Jake chuckled from the other side of the room. "Sunday, kid."

Hartley gave a sly grin. "So... do villains even celebrate holidays like that?"

Amy shook her head, rolling her eyes. "The only holiday we had was Onyx Day. We bowed to the leader and showered him with gifts. Very villainous."

Jake laughed, shaking his head. "Luckily, it was only once a year. Or so we thought."

Y/N smiled knowingly. "It was actually every single day."

Eva raised her eyebrows, hands on hips. "Well, I'm a mother and the leader now, so I say I deserve those perks too!"

Hartleys voice softened, catching everyone's attention. "Actually, Mother's Day is more about spending time with family and appreciating a mother's love."

Vic smirked, nudging her. "Yeah, but the gifts are definitely a big part of it."

Eva sighed, glancing down at her hands. "Too bad we don't have any money for gifts."

Y/N shrugged playfully, eyes sparkling. "Sounds like a you problem."

Amy crossed her arms with a mischievous grin. "So here's the deal. Whoever gives me the best gift wins Mother's Day."

Jake raised a curious eyebrow. "And what happens to the losers?"

Eva's eyes gleamed with playful menace. "They spin my Wheel of Torment."

Y/N chuckled, remembering the infamous wheel. "I thought you left that ancient torture device back at the old lair."

Eva smirked proudly. "I made a brand new one, and it's even more devious."

Vic whistled low. "This is gonna be good."

Eva glanced over at Y/N with a knowing smile. "You're on the list for a gift too."
