The old lair was quieter than usual, the shadows stretching long across the walls as the group gathered in a loose circle. Colby leaned against a metal support beam, arms crossed, glancing between Y/N and Amy. Zoey hovered near Eva and Vic, curiosity and concern written across her face. The air hummed with tension.

"So just like that," Colby began, a half-smile tugging at his lips, "Havoc is the new leader of all villains?"

Amy, standing tall and confident, let out a chuckle. "I'm sorry, but that's hysterical."

Colby frowned. "Why is it hysterical?"

"Well, no offense," she said, her grin playful but pointed, "you're already an unpredictable mess. Throw in all that power and we're walking a tightrope to the apocalypse."

Jake stepped forward, hands raised slightly in a calming gesture. "Chaos! Hey, show some support for your sister. I mean, we're all thinking it, but that doesn't mean you have to say it out loud."

Y/N crossed her arms, meeting Colby's gaze, her voice sharp. "You don't think I can do it, do you?"

Amy smirked. "Did the whole 'unpredictable mess' thing not make that clear?"

Colby shrugged helplessly. "Don't look at me. I'm terrified just thinking about it."

Eva shifted uncomfortably, glancing between Y/N and Amy. "For your information, I think you could do a great job. But the family isn't completely sold yet."

Y/N narrowed her eyes, frustration flickering. "I'll show you all. I'll make the lair run smoother than ever. I'll—"

"Wait," Colby interrupted, a hesitant look on his face. "Even if I use my powers to back you up, will it really work?"

Y/N frowned. "I—tried that already. Didn't work."

Zoey tilted her head, frowning. "Maybe it's not just about powers. Maybe it's about strategy... and trust."

Amy stepped forward, nodding toward Y/N. "Exactly. Being leader isn't just about strength or powers—it's about guiding the team, making decisions, and keeping everyone together. You think you're ready?"

"I'm ready," Y/N shot back, a spark of determination in her eyes. "I'll just pick it up as I go."

Vic snorted. "Right, 'cause if Valley View High has taught us anything, it's that you're a fast learner."

Celia's voice echoed faintly from the doorway as if from memory: "Mom, you always wanted a higher villain position. Now that you're leader, you can be my number two."

Amy's gaze softened. "Oh, I appreciate that, my love. But I kinda prefer Valley View," she admitted with a chuckle. "Mostly because I get to sleep in a bed rather than a subway car full of rats."

Jake raised an eyebrow. "But this is our chance to finally return to our villain lives. Isn't that what we always wanted?"

Amy shrugged. "Well, it was... but living in Valley View has changed us. We're still evil, sure, but now when it's chilly, we get to cuddle up in blankets with sleeves."

Colby interjected, smirking. "What about Flashform? He hasn't even gotten to be a villain yet. Don't you want to stay?"

Amy shook her head. "Nah. Using my powers to mess with unsuspecting suckers in Texas is a lot more fun. Those soccer moms never see it coming."

Y/N took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. "So that's it? I'm leader and I don't even get a say in this?"

Colby crossed his arms, frowning. "I am so sorry. You're just... not ready."
