21: Meeting His family

Nico's POV…

“Babe, stop worrying so much,” I told Kaleah when she began to unzip the back of the purple dress she had on.

“How can I not worry, I'm being introduced to your family?” She asked when I stilled her hand with mine.

“Because you've already met my parents and they love you. My sister can't stop bragging to the rest of the family about how amazing you are.”

“Just because your parents and sister like me, it doesn't mean that your grandparents and the rest of your family are going to feel the same way,” Kaleah says, stripping out of the third dress she'd put on tonight.

“How can anyone not like you, sweetie?” I asked in between sucking on the right side of her neck.

“I don't know, but I'm pretty sure Ivy, Sujin, and Mina can answer that question for you.”

“Who cares what they think, I sure as hell don't.” I stopped kissing Kaleah's neck and stepped away from her after hearing Sujin and Ivy's names come out of her mouth.

“Baby, are you okay?”

“I'm fine. I'll be downstairs in the living room when you're done getting dressed.” I replied then walked out of the room. I was upset that she suggested that I ask Ivy and Sujin anything. Not only that, but I was also feeling guilty because of the secret I was keeping from her. “Dammit, I can't keep this to myself any longer. I need to tell her about the mistake I made before tonight is over.” I murmured to myself as I leaned back onto the sofa with my eyes closed. “But what if she doesn't believe that it was a mistake?” A small voice in my head echoed. The next question I found myself asking was, “What am I going to do if she ends things between us?” my eyes popped open when I heard her walking down the stairs. “I'll worry about the 'what if's' later. For now, I'm just going to focus on the time we have together.” I mumbled to myself while my eyes feasted on the beautiful woman walking towards me with a smile on her face. “You look outstanding,” I told her at the same time my eyes fell upon her plump, moist lips.

“So do you. Now let's get out of here before we get into trouble.” She says, lifting my Chin with her pointer finger.

“Getting into the right kind of trouble ain't never hurt nobody,” I replied, then leaned forward and kissed her on the lips.

“Mhm… The kind of trouble you're thinking about will. Come on, let's get out of here before things get too far out of our control.” She says after disconnecting our lips. I let out a peal of haughty laughter, then began to follow her towards the door.

Time Skip…

“Yayyy… you made it.” Nova squealed when she saw Kaleah and I walk into the foyer. “Brother, I was beginning to think that you were going to keep her held up in your place tonight.”

“I thought about it,” I replied, laying the two large gift-wrapped presents for Halmeoni and Harabeoji on the coffee table with the rest of their gifts.

“Come on, let me introduce you to everyone,” Nova says after grabbing Kaleah by the hand and pulling her toward the backyard. “Oh, by the way, Dad and the rest of the guys are hanging out in his man cave.” She called out to me before she and Kaleah rounded the corner.
