Then I could start, yes. Easier said than done. I stood still for a while, trying to figure out what I could do to prove I was worthy of a place.
It was hard. I saw how their patience started to wear thin, they were probably wondering why I didn't do anything. But I had no plan.
Just as I was about to give up, something happened. I received an initiation. I heard a thought inside my head. But it wasn't mine. It belonged to one of the teachers whose name I hadn't quite caught yet. He thought this was taking too long, wanted to move on with the next participant. But I couldn't allow that. Just the thought of him sent me into a frenzy.
I couldn't control it. The rage just grew and grew, flowing through the body. I didn't feel it, but suddenly a large flame of fire had formed in my open hand. Desperate to get rid of it, I accidentally shot it... at Liam.Luckily, he quickly ducked. It wasn't meant to happen. But still it had.
I saw the teachers staring at me with angry faces. I understood them, I had threatened a teacher. I rushed out the door with tears streaming down my cheeks.
They need to understand that it wasn't meant to be, that it was all just an accident. They couldn't judge me when everything was an accident.
I heard the door open and saw Liam coming towards me. I couldn't handle it. I needed to escape. So I ran.
