    Monday could've waited another day to show up, but that won't happen until Endeavor becomes a good father. Everyone was talking to their friends about their internships when someone spoke. "I hope you all learned something useful over the week." Aizawa-sensei startled most of the class as he made his presence known. "Because today, we're having a joint exercise with class 1-b to see how much you have improved. Now, go change and head to ground beta." And with that, he left the classroom like a caterpillar. As per usual, the squad were the first ones out, and alongside them surprisingly was Todoroki. Over the weekend, the squad had a vote whether or not to invite Todoroki to the fam- I mean squad. Everyone was okay with it and then pulled straws to see who would ask him. Poor Pikachu pulled the shortest and was tasked to ask the stoic teen.

While waiting for the others, Denki started to approach Todoroki to ask him to join. He looked back at the squad to find Kumo, Mina and Kirishima giving him a thumbs up, Hitoshi urging him to go for it, and Kai giving him a look saying to hurry the fuck up. "Hey, Todoroki." He said. Todoroki glanced at him wondering why he would approach him. "Right. I- well we were wondering if you would like to join our fam- squad?" Denki slipped up but acted like that didn't happen. Todoroki looked at him then at the squad behind him with hopeful looks on their faces. "Sure." He agreed. Denki smiled and dragged him over to the squad who were ecstatic have a new member and planning to introduce him to Eri.

    "Now that everyone is here, we will be doing a running exercise. Five random students will be chosen to run in and rescue the person hidden somewhere in the maze." Aizawa explained to the two classes. "These will be the groups of five to run in." Vlad King pulled a list with the randomly chosen groups. "The groups are as followed-"

1. Kirishima, Kurioro, Tooru, Kaibara, Aoyama
2. Ojiro, Tetsutetsu, Tsuyu, Shoji, Shishida
3. Bondo, Sato, Honenuki, Kendo, Momo
4. Akatani, Monoma, Koda, Komori, Sero
5. Kodai, Jiro, Tokage, Awase, Tokoyami
6. Shoda, Gogatsu, Shiozaki, Tsunotori, Tsuburaba
7. Kaminari, Rin, Shinso, Ochako, Fukidashi
8. Yanagi, Kamakiri, Iida, Todoroki, Mina

    "First person to find the victim and bring them back wins. Whoever brings them back the fastest has bragging rights." Aizawa gave his signature grin. Each student gave a determined look as they prepared for the task ahead. "First group! Get in your starting positions!" Vlad King ordered. "On your marks!" He shouted once everyone was in place. "Get set." The students waited for the go ready to show off what they've learned over the week. "GOOOO!!!" And the first group was off.

    The students looked left and right trying to find the victim they were supposed to bring back. One of the students found a dummy thinking maybe that was it. "The dummies are a decoy. They were scattered amongst the fake city to throw you off. The real victim is one of the staff members." Aizawa announced over the intercom. "What?!" The student who found the dummy yelled. After a few minutes, Kirishima heard a sound and went to investigate it. Turns out the sound came from the victim who just so happened to be- "Principal Nezu?" He couldn't believe his eyes. The principal was playing the role of victim. He had an advantage in hiding with his small size. "Hello, Kirishima. I believe you are here to rescue me?" Nezu asked the student. "Yessir." Kirishima picked Nezu up and carried him back to the start.

    "You've got to be kidding me! We have to search for Nezu?!" Mina shouted. Kumo patted her shoulder. "Don't worry, Mina. As long as you listen carefully, you can hear the little noises he's making to help us find him." Kumo explained. "How do you know he's making noises?" Mina asked him. "I just did catch the sound he made from the speakers when Kiri found him." He explained like that was obvious. "Wait, wouldn't Kai be at a disadvantage here?" Kaminari asked when he approached them. "Never underestimate Kai." Kumo said then went back to watching Kirishima. Kaminari looked at Mina confused, but only got a shrug as she went back to watching Kirishima as well. Kai couldn't wait to show everyone how it's done.

Once Kirishima made it back, Aizawa gave the students a heads up on what to learn from this. "This exercise is not only to test you on what you've learned from your time interning, but to help you improve. While out on a search and rescue mission, you must listen for even the slightest of sounds when searching for survivors. Sometimes people get buried under rubble and you have to listen for any sound of distress coming from beneath. So take notes while training." Once Aizawa finished his speech, the next group was called up to go.

"Listen up! I have the name of the student with the fastest time." Vlad King said getting everyone's attention. "Beating second place by only a 0.1 of a second is Kai Gogatsu." He announced not very ecstatic about it. Aizawa gave Vlad a shit-eating grin, but even he was surprised. "I wouldn't have been able to do this if it weren't for the tech Kumo made for me. So thanks for that." Kai said. "Also, suck it up, Monoma! I won!" Kaminari translated that for him. The whole squad was so going to rub this in his face for the next week or two.
