Epilogue

5 months later...

Shawn walks through the garden of the estate as he takes in a deep breath.

He spent three months looking for any of his tribe members but didn't find anyone, so he and his parents went up to New York to live with Lauren and Camila.

D. C. was too dangerous because of the war so New York was the best place for them.

Lauren still helps to free slaves, having an estate in Illinois so the slaves have somewhere to hide and still has her family estate in Florida when she enters the South to discuss with her partners but she left it in Zayn's care.

In the main room, Camila stretches in bed as she awakens from her sleep.

Camila gets out of Lauren's arms and stands up to get ready.

Once ready, she exits their bedroom and makes her way to the kitchen, and smiles at Sir Trey.

"Great to see you already cooking breakfast," Camila says.

"I know you wake up really early and really hungry," Sir Trey says.

Camila laughs and claps him on the shoulder. "Is my family awake?" She asks.

"I believe your brother is. I think he is in the garden again," Sir Trey says.

"Got it. Thank you," Camila says.

She makes her way out to the garden and soon finds her brother, lost in his own mind.

"Still unreal to you, huh? All the riches," Camila speaks.

Shawn looks back and smiles at his sister. "It is. These clothes, this garden, this estate. But most of all, we are at peace," He says.

"We deserve it. And most of all, we still help slaves, giving them hope to keep fighting for freedom," Camila says.

"And today, we will marry you and Lauren," Shawn takes his sister's hands in his.

Camila takes in a deep breath as a bright smile forms on her mouth. "I have been waiting for this moment for so long," She says.

"We just need to wait for mother and father to wake up," Shawn says.

"And the bride," Camila adds.

"Yes," Shawn laughs, "And then we get our armor and cloaks. I have everything set up on the grounds."

"I wish we can have everyone there with us," Camila says.

"It is a sacred thing. But we all know they will be watching," Shawn says.

The brunette turns around and smiles, letting go of her brother's hands to wrap her arms around Lauren's neck.

"Good morning, my love," Lauren says.

"Good morning," Camila says.

They share a loving kiss before pulling away as Lauren smiles at Shawn and shakes his hand.

"Are you excited for today?" Shawn asks.

"I think I am more nervous than excited but I am definitely both," Lauren says.

"We just wait for mother and father, we eat breakfast, then we can get started," Shawn says. He smiles at them and heads off inside.

"How are you feeling, my love?" Lauren asks.

"Like I am touching the sky," Camila says.

Lauren chuckles as she wraps her arms around Camila's waist. "How?" She asks.
