Chaos in the streets

Kendo: "izuku come on" 
Izuku: "..." as he was barely recovering from that meltdown..he slowly rises off Kendo...to be fair...since evelyn...he never felt more safe in someones arms...or felt so loved by someone...a feeling that was almost foreign to him in the first place...as he arms up..holding a hand out to help her up...they hear more AVs...NCPD cars driving overhead...and it just keeps adding up...as Izuku receives a call...
Izuku: "vic?" hearing from his 'adopted' father...since it's been so long since they talked...and the last time he made contact with him...was before his termination at Max-tac
Victor: "Kid!" hearing his voice...the sound of anger and relief...and not to mention..worry 
Izuku: "what's going on?" 
Victor: "I know it's been a long time...but you need to hear this" as he was sent a voice recording 

Katsumi: "To all available Mercs in Nightcity..a hero bounty has been posted...Former Sergeant Johnny of Max-tac...the reward is one million eddies...this message will be on repeat...johnny is to be brought in alive...his partner...do whatever you want" and the message ends there

Victor: "With all of that ruckus you and Battlefist made...you have nearly all Mercenaries tracking you down!...you need to get to 6th Street!" 
Izuku: "I highly doubt Walker would want me there" 
Kendo: "izu" 
Victor: "Damn it for once in your moment let your fucking pride go!...he is expecting you and you B-" before he could finish the sentence his call was ended 
Izuku: "shit...they gridlocked the services...we need to go now!" 
Kendo: "we should listen to what he said" 
Izuku: "I can't risk putting more lives on the line" 
Kendo: "they're willing to help..and i'm sure Walker knows what to do!" 
Izuku: "..." 
Kendo: "Izu please...for me" 
Izuku: "fuck...hang on" as he pulls out a map of the entire nightcity sewage system and storm drain network...
Izuku: "if we continue on with this path...but because we're in the dark right now with communications...they'll send in units possibly from here...and then here...to try and corner us off from trying to escape this way...i hate to say this...but we'll have to expose ourselves to the cities security defense grid." 
Kendo: "defense grid?" 
Izuku: "it's only used in times of extreme situations...such as a danger level threat...via cyberpsychosis victims...terrorist attacks and whatnot...and seeing there's about a mill on my head...they're definitely going to use it...they appear all over the city buildings...i don't remember where they're all located at...but we'll have to be cautious as always" 
Kendo: "yeah...especially when you killed one of the top heroes in the world" 
Izuku: "and i would do it again" continuing on in the tunnels...as the lights in the tunnel managed to keep it well lit...as they get through the network with no trouble...until they make it to where they actually have to leave 

climbing up the ladder...they were met with a ton of screens showing them the current news...
T.V: "Attention...this is James Teal the chief of Night city police Department...you are advised to find a safe shelter immediately...repeat civilians are required to return to their homes until futher instructions." then it shuts off...looking around they see multiple people nudging one another...
"That's him!" 
"It's Johnny!" as they call him out...taking this as a cue to Delta on out of there hearing a lot of cars speeding in the distance...
Izuku: "COME ON!!" running with him now...seeing they need to get to Northside to traverse the city into Santo Domingo...hearing gunshots barely missing them...diving out of the way...as Kendo was pushed out of the way...as Izuku fires out at the Mercenarys trying to dome them...he hits two of them in the arm causing them to drop their weapons...continuing to run...Kendo then gets a notification in her optics 

'NCPD Cyberpsychosis protocol initiated...assault in progress' 

Izuku: "oh fuck" hearing the low buzzing alarm...red lights flashing in various parts of the city...whirring noises are heard then...turrets now emerge from where the red lights are located...and they started to fire at them...Kendo using the Synaptic accelerator...she pulls Izuku in to the alleyway to avoid getting hit...as they fall over now...Izuku slid across the ground from the sudden stop...
izuku: "fuck" groaning in pain 
Kendo: 'sorry!" 
Izuku adjusts himself before firing his hand cannon at a turret that just activated right above them...malfunctioning it explodes...pieces falling all over them...
Izuku: "that's not good" being covered in the oil like substance 
Kendo: "gah!" 
izuku: "shit..." as he takes the leather jacket off discarding it
Kendo: "gnh!" she was feeling a burning sensation through her entire body...they both aren't having a great day...Izuku doing his best managed to get the outer layer of her clothing off her...
Kendo: 'what is that?!" 
Izuku: "Nanopaste...or whatever the fuck they call it...it's used in the turret in case criminals destroy a turret...it can stun them for a while" 
kendo: "it certainly did its job" wiping the remaining oil off they continue to run...
"THERE THEY ARE!!" hearing gunfire...Izuku fires fenrir to get them off their backs...switching over to the Widowmaker...they slide on down one of the overpass leading away from the waterfronts...running across a major highway there were no cars...they have shut down the entire city just for these two...seeing multiple AVs heading in their direction...the wired fences...crawling through them the height was nerve wracking and behind him 
"JOHNNY STOP!!" 
"SARGE!!" turning around to see his old squad...he ignores them..
Izuku: "JUMP!!" as they fall down through the gap in the highway...they both landed on top of a car...breaking the roof...
Kendo: "damn it"getting a hypojet and breathing it n before she hands it to him...taking a puff now...they were running off adrenaline at this point Izuku limping now tries to keep them off...firing upward where they were...seeing the NCPD retreating to avoid the incoming fire...as he tries to keep up...they cut through Chinatown...now they come across another drop...
Izuku: 'again...fuck me' and more turrets opening up before an AV Drops multiple Minotaur mechs within the area as they go through a building...into what seems to be a diner...they crashed through...seeing the occupants look at them for a moment...silence...besides the sirens and the mechs roaming around...not to mention mercs actually trying to find them...seeing a child just gazing at them...Izuku puts up a small smile...
Izuku: "shh" and the child copied him standing up now...they overhear more ruckus coming outside
"ALL CIVILIANS DO NOT MOVE FROM YOUR SPOT...OTHERWISE FORCE WILL BE AUTHORIZED!!" 
Kendo: 'fuckfuck" muttering to herself...
"Johnny" looking over at the clerk...gesturing them to come closer...
Izuku: "don't put yourself into danger" as the clerk points behind him 
"Maintenance tunnel leads out of Chinatown through watson...if your wondering" 
Izuku could only smirk...jesus he needs to make sure he thanks them 
Kendo goes up to the panel and removes the cover for the small tunnel 
Izuku: "go...thank you" as he waves off...they both enter...closing it once they got in...the door to the diner breaks open...to a familiar whirring sound...and it's something they all feared
Adam: "come out Johnny boy" his voice loud as ever...Izuku froze in his spot...turning around...
Kendo: "what?" 
Adam then continues to go through the diner...scanning everything in the area...before turning to the clerk staring them down...his red glowing eyes that would pierce your very soul...vulnerable as you are at his mercy.
Adam: "where is he" asking them...but more of him seeing if they are going to lie to him or not...
"i...I" stuttering in their words Adam just turns away...before a daemon was inserted into all the occupants...even the few children that were in there...are bound to his cruel method...
Adam: "is the peoples champion going to save his worthless servants" the mockery in his words as the screams grew louder and louder...Izuku clenching his fist...
Kendo: "don't do it Izu...we can't take him like this" trying to reason with him...as Izukus anger was rising...his heart telling him to go defend the people from Smashers wraith...but...he had no choice...
"Let them go!" hearing another voice come into play...one he very much recognize 
Adam: "Who the fuck are you?" turning to see who this worthless person had just tried to command him is...
Izumi: "you will stand down Smasher" scoffing at her words...he listens 
Adam: "ignorant cunt" shoving past her...she remains unmoved 
Izuku: "izumi" 
Izumi: "I know your in here Deku" but it was met with no answer...Izuku ignores it..and continues...guilt rushing through him knowing the people that went through pain...it won't end from there
