Hollowed souls

V: "Not seeing her anywhere" in Santo domingo...V has been trying to track down Eri.
AFO: "If i know anything about kids her age...she'll try to do something stupid...don't know how..but she will" 
V: "Shit" seeing a diner ahead...she goes to enter...seeing it was quite busy...even for this part of town which is unusual 
V: "hmm...odd" 
AFO: "What?...surprised that there are still folk trying to live a normal life in this shithole?" 
V: "You guessed it" 
AFO: "Many things in life that people try to live out...normal is one of them...can't blame them for that..." 
V heads up to the counter to see the vendor there smiling 
"What can i get you?...coffee?, Tea?, Water?" listing off brand names
V: "Whatever you recommend" seeing him nod as he pulls out a couple of bottles and makes a brew she leans in towards him 
V: "Listen i have to ask...have you seen a child roaming around here?...white hair, pale skin with red eyes and has a singular horn on her head?" as the vendor stops for moment...before continuing...
"may i ask why?" 
V: "based on your facial expression you know something" 
AFO: "Don't fuck it up"  
V: "Listen...the kid is Johnnys daughter...between you and me" seeing the vendors face pale for a brief moment 
"J..j..johnny has a daughter" whispering out in shock 
V: "Yeah..And i need to find her fast before she does something stupid"  for a small moment the vendor was contemplating if she's hunting her or working for the feds...
V: "If it makes you feel more at ease" bringing out a weapon...the buzzsaw to be exact 
V: "one of Johnnys folk gave me this as a way to show i have their trust" 
AFO: "Really" sarcastic which V just gave him a sideglance 
"a...alright...s...last i heard she was traveling with an animal...Rhino...they were supposed to be heading back to Pacifica to keep the badges away from her." 
V: "And what happened?" 
Flashback 
Eri: "if you won't help me with this i will do it myself!" 
Rhino: "Goddamn it kid you're going to get yourself killed...you think your pops wanted you to do that?!" 
Eri: "The dead don't speak..might as well join him and give him the proper glory he needed!" 
Rhino: "What you'll do is disappoint him...please..Eri...ERI!!" the vendor looked over to see the child run out the door...with Rhino following after her 
Flashback ends 
V: "That's it?" 
"Rhino was heading towards Northside...don't know why...guess she lost her from there" 
V: "Fuck" 
AFO: "huh...kids more like her father...reckless" 
V: "Shit..thanks...and...here" handing him some eddies she headed out towards her bike and rode off towards the last known location Rhino was heading...heading off from Santo Domingo leading into the bridge into the Glens...she turns right to the next bridge leading into Watson...the main highway...
V: "Should've known this shit was going to happen" 
AFO: "don't be doubting yourself..you have your own shit to be worrying about-" but she received a Message from Shoto 

Shoto: 'Izuku...he didn't deserve this...even if he is gone...he was a witness...Fuyumi had said that she had enough of both touyas and Izumis blighted decisions...Izumi will die...' 

V: "seems like the Todoroki daughter isn't too keen on the news either" 
AFO: "from the look of things...this skin he had...the way he regenerated...hmm" 
V: "I know i hate being the pessimistic one...but a huge fucking hole in the chest wouldn't be something that could heal overnight" 
Flashback 
V: "Your kid...how'd you find her?" 
Izuku: "She wandered the streets of glen...bloodied...drenched in rain...and a will full of rage...killing scavs...left ad right...or so i think..." 
V: "Like everyone...fucking scavs" 
Izuku: "like rats...they find their way to dwell in the fucking cracks of the city...multiplying while they continue to do horrendous things along with it...they purposely installed cyberware in her stomach...specifically to fuck with her immune system...managed to get her to Vic on time...before she flatlined" 
V: "Shit" Flashback ends 
V: "wait" thinking back again.
AFO: "Had a thought come up" 
V: "Eri came from a scav hideout after she was taken once more...she had an undying hatred for them" 
AFO: "hmm" 
V: "then Johnnys death...they said the scavs took his body somewhere...Rhino saying she'll get herself killed...giving him a proper glory...did she intent to?!" 
AFO: "Fuck..." speeding up again...soaring through watson like a pro...she ends up near the entrance of Northside...trying to look around if there are possible places they could hold a hideout 
AFO: "not seeing anything around here...hell she may not even be in this location" 
V: "shit..we have to find out where to look otherwise it cou-" but she was cut off...as she was clothslined off the bike seeing it drive into the wall but the wind was knocked out of her...falling back to the ground it felt like her organs were going to explode.
"Nice to see you here Fucker!" looking up to see Rhino there...pissed 
Rhino: "Now your going to tell me what the fuck your doing here!"

Kendo: "gnh...hah...HAAH!" screaming out in pain...the third session she was put into...
Dr Wellman: "now...what is your name?" 
Kendo: "..I...Itsuka Kendo" groaning out 
Dr Wellman: "Your hero name?" 
Kendo: "B...battlefist" 
Dr Wellman: "good...cognitive responses are slightly delayed...suggest putting her under serious supervision by one of our own...yes i am aware that inserting the relic may be a...troublesome manner...but that is undetermined for another time...now then miss Kendo what is the first thing you can think of when presented with the image?" seeing a picture of Nightcity...she thinks for a moment 
Kendo: "...h..hell" 
Dr Wellman: "mm-hmm..now...i will give a word and you will respond with another that may somehow relate to it...ready?" 
Kendo was dazed...she didn't respond...it felt like there was a huge pressure going all around in her head...like..like her very brain wants to pop out of her skull...it was a horrible feeling..her sight..seeing the doctors skin...it looked...off...
Dr Wellman: "Chaos" 
Kendo: "Shield" 
Dr wellman:  "Blood" 
Kendo: "death" 
Dr Wellman: "Home" 
Kendo: "...n...Nightcity" pausing for a moment before he continues to write it...
Dr Wellman: "Hero?" 
Kendo: "Max-tac" again another pause in writing her response 
Dr Wellman: "Last one...Forest?" and it snapped back to her...like she had just remembered something important 
kendo: "Izuku" and thus the doctor now sighs before putting in the information...as he undoes the bindings on her arms giving her small freedom...the guard at the door behind him...aimed his weapon at her...
Dr Wellman: "next test...please solve the cube in the best way possible" handing her the puzzle...slowly...she moves it...trying to figure it out...she felt...hollow...like...like they ripped a piece of herself out...something...important...but..she struggled 
Dr Wellman: "That will be all" taking it from her...
Dr wellman then pushes her back before the bindings snap back into place 
Dr Wellman: "Next session will continue tomorrow...please advise the symbol of peace of the information taken...thank you" 
Kendo; "w..wait...w..what's going on?" seeing him walk away...his voice sounding like it's echoing 
Dr Wellman: "Just another nightmare Miss Kendo..all will be over soon" 
Kendo: "n..no...please" closing the door...the lights turn off...causing it to be pitch black
Kendo: "s...get me...help...please....Izuku"
