hearing AVs flying through the city...Eri was watching Night city on a rooftop...as the broadcast cold front was coming in...the clouds covering the sky...making it much more gloomy than usual" the rain slowly coming in...closing her eyes to feel the slight wind breezing through...but the smell...the unpleasant smell that could make your stomach sick...hearing noises behind her...she turns to see Vs friend...Judy 
Judy: "Thought i find you here" sitting by her as she hands a spunky monkey to her...opening her can pop as she takes a sip...
Eri: "..." 
Judy: "as much as i hate the place...have to give the view a good nine out of ten" 
Eri: "...a...and the other one?" 
Judy: "Mostly for the shit that happens here" 
Eri: "mm" as Judy slowly brings her arm around Eris shoulder to bring her close...like an older sister 
Eri: "...I miss him" she clenches the can towards her chest...as she shakes slightly from the pressure she's putting into it 
Judy: "*sigh*...I do to" seeing how sensitive the subject is...normally she would've said that he was an asshole...but a good man at heart...but that's for friends...not his daughter 
Judy: "he would always come to my work unannounced to bring in help...and give people jobs" 
Eri: "I was told he was a jerk" 
Judy: "well...that's how most people see him...a jerk...but not an asshole...and that's what the people who did him in are" 
Eri: "and what did you think of him?" 
Judy taking another sip...collects her thoughts to consider her word of choice all the while Eri waits for her answer 
Judy: "He was what Nightcity needed...serving order and law above everything...doing what is right...he may have been a jerk...but that's his way of expression...but that's how most people are...once you get to really know him...he's the kindest person i've ever met...and i trusted him...to protect eve" 
Eri: "who?" 
Judy: "oh...he didn't tell you huh....my best friend...Evelyn was his last...uh...*ahem*" 
Eri: "similar to Battlefist?" 
Judy: "right...that" 
Eri: "oh...what happened to her?" 
Judy: "well...Eve died" 
Eri: "...oh...sorry" 
Judy: "not your fault...and your pops thought i'd blame him as well...but i didn't...it...it was an unfortunate thing for all of us" 
Eri: "I see"
V: "So here you were" seeing her approaching from behind 
Judy: "Just had a little bit of gossip" 
V: "so...i have something to talk to her about...you mind giving us a moment?" 
Judy: "yeah...i'll be inside okay?" Eri nods as Judy takes her leave...V waits until she is out of earshot 
Eri: "so...what" 
V: "Going to the Afterlife...bastard in my head has been pestering me the whole time...
AFO: "And for good reason...no wonder no one could tolerate your mood" 
V: "shut up" 
Eri: "eh?" tilting her head in confusion 
V: "not you...I *sigh*...whatever Just know i'm heading over there to discuss some things with Rouge before we continue on with this 'avenger' plan of yours" 
Eri: "not how i wanted to put it...but....fine" 
V: "it's not going to be long...hopefully" 
AFO: "If we do this correctly...she can give us a way to take out this Mikoshi Izuku was talking about...it will have your cure...we fix your fucked up brain by removing my fucked up brain from yours...hmm...funny...trying to guide you is similar to how i tried to mentor my old student." 
Eri: "when will you come back?" 
V: "Don't know...just hope this will give me some answers" 
Eri: "mm" 
V: "Don't stay up to long...get some rest" getting up to leave now...jumping down from the roof to hear her fortified ankles propels go off...getting on her motorcycle to drive off...seeing her speed away...Eri continues to look out into the city view...
Flashback 
Kendo: "Shit" getting back into the Javelina as she runs to avoid getting soaked...
Eri: "anything?" Kendo trying to wipe the water off her...she hands Eri a very wet bag 
Kendo: "It was supposed to be dry..." seeing it was a buck a slice pizza
Eri: "a Salad?" 
Kendo: "Anything to get some nutrients...and edible" 
Eri: "oh...but...i wasn't talking about the f-" 
Kendo: "Nothing...no one's seen him...no sightings or anything...if they did...i'm sure they wouldn't even give me any info"
Eri: "i see" 
Kendo: "don't worry...i'm sure we'll find him" 
Eri: "*sob* it's not that...i...I'm worried i might lose you too...this city...this place...it...it takes everything from you!" 
Kendo: "It's going to be okay Eri...shh...shshsh" pulling her in 
Eri: "..." 
Flashback ends 
Eri now grabs her hatchet...holding the worn out weapon...the rust and stains of blood on it...standing up...she reels back to throw it as hard as she can...towards the ocean...well...the closest thing to the ocean dividing the districts of the city seeing the splash in the distance...and she brings out the newest one Rhino gave her...now she has to embark on this new mission...this new goal to bring justice to her father...and that is to kill Izumi Yagi 

Meanwhile 

Izumi: "..." exiting the pools...off the hidden underground section in the Shield tower....disconnecting from the pillar located in the room...
Katsumi: "You heard about the rumors?" 
Izumi: "..." getting out...as she puts her hero suit back on...
Katsumi: "There's been a case that the ghost of Johnny is haunting NIghtcity." 
Izumi: "He's dead...let the people see what they want." 
Katsumi: "and if it isn't?" 
Izumi: "...Adams attack made a wound that no one will ever recover from...what the people are seeing...is what they wish to believe..." 
Katsumi: "...and you still thought it was a good choice?...after everything...all the planning...the supposed set up of getting overhaul here...you just...killed him." 
Izumi: "The deeds already been done, there's no point in dwelling in it...he made his choice in the end...and that's the result of his choices" 
Katsumi: "And Itsuka...the whole...Rehabilitation thing your doing?" 
Izumi: "Ah...her....i forgot about that honestly...they can do whatever they wish...as long in the end she will obey and follow orders" as she stops for a moment...she sighs  
Izumi: "I know your there Ashido" as she comes out from the corner...she and tokage were there 
Katsumi: "How the hell?" 
Izumi: "It's not difficult to get down here...i allowed them entry just to see what their intentions were" 
Mina: "Izumi...you need to stop the rehab with Itsuka...with the amount of Cyberware that she had already taking a toll on her your only going to-" she stopped as she gagged for a moment..holding her throat as she couldn't breath
Setsuna: "Mina!" but she also was facing the same effect as they were brought closer to her 
Izumi: "I believe that it's none of your business...Nightcity and it's people are filled with talented individuals...Dr Wellman is very good at his job...so don't worry about it...once things are over...she'll be just like her old self, but as for you..." letting go of her grip on them making them gasp for air 
Izumi: "I Believe i have a task for you to carry out" 
Mina gasping breathing heavily as she looks up at the number one hero 
Izumi: "I want you to go to Santo Domingo...there's been rumors that a group of thugs saw the ghost of Johnny...find out what it is...and if it's a person trying to imitate their dead idol...bring them in...and put an end to it...do i have your word?" 
Setsuna: "Y...yes" 
Izumi: "good...now if you so kindly take your leave" getting up to leave the room...Katsumi just shakes her head slowly 
Katsumi: 'what happened to you izumi?'
