New Girl???

Merritt, Jack, and I were all hanging out behind the old abandoned warehouse where we normally meet up with Dylan. It's been about a week since I've last seen Dylan and I was really starting to miss him. I was sitting on the trunk of an old car while the boys were infront of me. Jack was trying to teach Merritt how to throw cards through a very worse off old car across the alley.

"It's all in the wrist, let the momentum of the card do the work for you" Jack wasn't the best teacher buy as he said that he did throw the card perfectly so I'll give him that.

"Not bad but do you wanna see a thing of beauty? Here you go and BINGO BANGO BONGO" the card didn't go far. I just giggled and jumped off the trunk of the car, I took one card out of Merritt's hand and threw it exactly like Jack had perfectly.

"It's not that hard Mer" I teased while Jack laughed behind me.

"That's because your a show off you little tease, this comes naturally to you two" He tried to throw a card at Jack's chest but it didn't even make it to him, just went straight to the ground.

"That was great really, really keep that in mind for if you ever get robbed honey" I continues to tease Merritt before I kissed him on the cheek and stepped out of the way again.

"Where as when it comes to hypnotism the student has almost become the masterrrr" Jack took his turn to tease Merritt but I shut it down pretty quickly.

"The real master is over here considering I can do anything, throw cards, hypnotise, slight of hand. You name it" I just bragged with a proud smile. They side eyed me while Jack started to shoot cards into the air before catching a certain one.

"Was this your card yesterday" Jack directed towards Merritt. Which only got confirmation back while I laugh at the two of them.
Daniel rolled in on his little motor bike and the boys made a bet really quickly about who can perform the others skill on Daniel the fastest, the winner getting top bunk for a week. I wasn't happy cause if Merritt had to move so did I seeing as we sleep in the same bed.

Jack started rambling on while shoving Daniel's own hand in his face while Merritt and I just giggled to the side like the mean girls in school.

"Please don't become him" Daniel was referring to Merritt.

"I see nothing wrong with him" I said as I looked Merritt up and down. Jack covered his eyes like a child and shouted for me to stop checking out Merritt.

"I didn't know you guys did party trucks when there weren't floozies around to impress" Daniel's comment hurt me cause he refuses to acknowledge Merritt and i's relationship so he always said stuff like that to him. Merritt saw how another comment hurt me and just grabbed me by the waist and held me close as we walked.

"Okay so somebody broke into my apartment, like some amateur who knew everything about me, everything about Henely leaving, and about us- That's her" we all looked up to see a brunette sitting on the table next to my brother. I took off and tan into Dylans arms, seeing Merritt get mock offended I left his arms. I playfully flipped him off behind dylans back while I just hugged him.

"Heyyyyy!"

"You've met Lula" Dylan said while swinging me around. We really didn't like being apart after just finding eachother again so we were really two peas in a pod when we were around each other. The others have just gotten used to us being like this.

"I've met her, what is she doing here" Daniel didn't look happy at all.

"I'm...the new horseman!!" Lula got up and waved her arms around a lot. I didn't really.like her but I guess it's just cause this was basically Henely's replacement. Me and her still talked all the time it just wasn't the same as her being on the team.

"I'm the girl horseman" she clapped for herself, I pulled out of dylans arms and glared at her.

"And what the fuck am I then?" They all just got silent and looked at me, the boys knew not to say anything while I was glaring, they've learned their lesson. Nobody said anything so I just pouted and went back to Merritt and settled myself in his arms.

We all crowded around the table while Dylan told us about Lulu but I didn't really care about anything he was saying so I was zoned out. I held in my laughter at seeing Lula low key obsessing over Jack. Lula said something about us being a family and nobody liked that at all.
She started rambling about how her mother knifed her father in the neck and Merritt whispered that I better never do that to him which made me giggle.

"So does this mean we're actually gonna do something?" Merritt asked foe the group.

"Yes, you've all heard of octa of they're playboy CEO, Owen Case. His partner died about a year ago, you all wanna know what all this has been leading too? Octa is hosting a launch for their next gen cell phone. Once these phones hit the streets, they'll cipher users information to the black market. So the eyes has decided to expose them for it, our mission is to hijack the show."
