"Jacob, He's down there alone!!"
"Okay? You can go back down there if you want.. I'm not asking you to stay up here."
Olivia grit her teeth And clinched her fist. How could Jacob Not Care about Sam, how could he just leave him down there after what happened!?
"It's been almost two hours, Jacob.. Aren't our parents going to worry about us?"
"If they call, I'll just tell them we're two towns over and forget to tell them. I'll also tell them It's take us a while to get back but we're having fun, so no need to worry."
"..This is such a Bad idea.."
Jacob snorted and looked down at her. "If it was such a bad idea, why'd you go and steal your father's gun for?"
Olivia froze. She forget she did that, she had forget she was helping Jacob. Regret filled her Body, she was hurting Sam .. she was hurting him.
"C'mon, Olivia. We're too deep in this to go back. The gun has your fingerprints, the door and flashlight has mine. It's obvious Sam was in the chair. Cops could figure it out in a heartbeat.." Jacob reached out touch her shoulder but she pushed him away.
"If we get caught, we're going to jail. I Hope you know that, Sam would be left free. But don't you think he'd have so much guilt?" Olivia's thoughts were racing, she tried to find every possible reason to convince Jacob to let sam go. However, there were none.
Silence over took the room for a few seconds before Olivia spoke up. "Fine! Fine! I have Not much Choice to continue you helping you!! But the moment something else happens, I'm walking out."
Jacob smiled at her. "That's fair. Remember, we aren't doing this to torture him. We are doing this to help him and help us.."
Olivia bit at her nails and sighed, she nodded and watched as Jacob went back down to the basement. She followed after him.
"Samuel, Wake up." Jacob grabbed the gun and slightly the back of Sam's head with it. He opened his eyes and Jacob put the gun back on the table.
"Huh.." Sam looked out of it. He looked as if he was confused and at the same time, very aware and distraught.
"Hi, Sam." Olivia wave at him, her Body Stiff. Sam put his head back down, he had a killer migraine and he smelled of puke.
"Sam, Are you okay? Are you ready to answer questions now?" Jacob sat in a chair in front of the blonde. "Look, the faster you answer questions, the faster we can all leave this place."
"I.." He mumbled the rest of his words, they were inaudible. "We won't put the gun to your head anymore, we're going to take this slow. The only reason a gun should be needed is if you start to get loud and attract attention."
"Sam, please answer questions. I'm sure you want to go back home. We all do, so please.." Olivia looked at her shoes and Bit at her nails.
"Okay.."
"Great! We'll try not to bombard you with questions, if it's too much, tell us to slow down." Jacob gave him a small smile.
"What kind of questions are these supposed to be?" Sam looked up at Jacob and immediately looked away.
"Simple ones. We just want to know what you've been doing to cause rumors to spread about you."
Silence until Jacob stood up and broke it.
"Alright Sam, Question one. Why do you walk into the forest everyday at six o' clock Pm?"
Sam gulped, he really couldn't get out of this and He was Never Good at lying. "I.. I have a place I go. There is an opening in the forest near the old hiking trail."
"Are you aware about the rumors?" Sam nodded. "Rumors?" They both looked at Olivia, who had seemed confused.
"Yeah, rumors. It's an old school legend about monsters in the forest, blah blah.. it's all fake, but you know. Better safe than sorry." Olivia nodded and cleared her throat.
"What is this place like? Sam.."
Sam sighed. "Uh, it has an opening.. like no trees around it. You have to cross a steep hill and tiny creek to get to it."
Olivia nodded. "What importance does this place hold to you?"
He was onto him. Sooner or later they'd figure it out, He was onto him. He was going to figure it out..
"Sam?" Olivia walked towards him. "Are you alright? You look pale."
"Huh? Yeah, yeah. I'm okay, I'm fine.." he mumbled. "What was the question again?"
"What importance does this place hold to you?" Jacob seemed as if he was annoyed by Sam's behavior. The tone in his voice said it all.
"Right, Right. Uh, It's.. It's just a safe place for me. That's all, it's peaceful. Especially when the sun is going down.." Sam gave him a half-smile. He was very obviously telling a lie, but Nobody Said anything about it.
"Alright, question two. Why have you been avoiding me?" Jacob sent him a smile, but Sam wasn't smiling Back. In fact, Sam was slowly spiraling in his mind.
"Uh.. erm.. Well, it's kind of a.. personal topic?"
He softly chuckled, very awkwardly with it as well.
"And?"
"Ah, uh.. Okay well, this is kind of embarrassing haha.. you know how people avoid each other to stop emotions from flooding? That's kind of what i was Doing??"
"Why though?" Jacob just continued to lead on the question, He just didn't get the cue to stop! Sam felt his mouth twitch, he laughed awkwardly and looked down at the floor.
"I uh.. I like you?" He gulped. There was silence, Even Olivia was silent. She was more in shock than anything else.
"Hm, I see. Alright then." Jacob looked as if he was guilty of something, whatever it was? Unknown.
"Question three.. Why do always look distraught entering the forest and come out dirty and seemingly "better"?"
"Reasons I don't feel comfortable answering, sorry.." Sam would bounce his leg if his feet and legs weren't tied together by rope.
"Alright. That's all the questions I had for now, wasn't that easy?" Jacob teased him, yet Sam didn't find it amusing.
"Now, onto the real "question", why did you lie between all of those answers?"
Olivia cleared her throat and spoke up. "What.. do you mean lied? How did you know?"
"It was very obvious through Body behavior, plus, Sam was never a good liar. I've know you since 6th grade, Sam. I know what it looks like when you-"
"No you haven't." Sam muttered, but froze when he realized it was louder than he expected. "I haven't what? Known you since 6th grade or?"
"Sorry, did i say that out loud? I didn't mean to."
"You didn't mean to But you did. So, answer my question. I haven't known you since 6th grade?" Sam gulped as he felt Jacob glare at him. What was He to say? He just put himself in a more uncomfortable situation than before.
"Sam, You have known Jacob since 6th grade.. I introduced him to you that day. What are you talking about?"
Should He just say it? Should He just Go along with it? What should he do exactly? He was so distraught he couldn't even think properly.
"Sam-"
"Who are you?" Sam glared at Jacob, His whole face darkened with those words. WHO was Jacob really?
