Florence's pov:

Memories flashed before me. I saw myself as a child at a dance show. I saw my first and last days at school. I saw the day my best friend had died of an overdose. I saw myself waving goodbye to my cousin as I left for Germany. I saw my flat and Roma the parties we'd been too. And I saw him. The gentle moments we'd spent together.

The memories flashed before me like a slideshow of my life. The things I'd done and said the people I'd met.

I felt warm and I wasn't in any pain I wanted to slip further into this place in my mind it was like a warm embrace shielding me from the pain of the past few days.

I saw my friend walking towards me I thought i had to. Be dead after all she definitely was.

I ran to her and hugged her

"I missed you" I said

"I miss you too but you don't belong here" she smiled

"But I want to be here I want to be here with you" she hugged me tightly but she felt like thin air.

She began to walk away from me I reached out for her but she was gone.

Bright lights flooded my vision

I began to hear a slow steady beeping in the distance and I could hear people talking. I tried to slowly open my eyes and had to shut them quickly as my eyes were hurt by the light.

I began to slowly open them again and managed to keep them open. As my eyes adjusted I began to look around. I groaned I was in hospital. But who had bought me here surely not Kai.

I moved to sit up and gasped in pain. A nurse came hurrying over.

"We're glad you're awake we were beginning to worry, do you know where you are Florence? You've been quite badly hurt"

I nodded

"The hospital, but who bought me here"

She smiled at me sweetly

"Two men they're waiting downstairs if you'd like me to go get them they haven't left even for a second since you've been here"

"How long have I been here"

"Two days"

I must have looked shocked because she gently squeezed my arm to reassured me.

"My friend where is she?" I asked remembering angel and how she'd been slumped in that chair.

"We'll check on that for you" something about her smile was more false this time.

I'd known instantly who it was waiting for me downstairs. I was mad, mad at them for not coming sooner mad at them for putting us in a position where we were there alone and I was mad at myself. I had truly believed they wouldn't come for us.

I saw bill in the glass window of the door he opened it and came in he gave me a sad smile.

"How are you" he asked not really looking at me

"How do I look to you" I asked sarcastically

"We are sorry no one meant for this to happen" he said he looked sheepish.

"Well it did happen didn't it and now look"

"We thought we were protecting you we only ever wanted to protect you"

"Well you failed didn't you" I hissed I could tell this hurt him.

He went to say something more but I raised my hand telling him to stop.
