Tensions were high the next morning, bill was chain smoking in the kitchen something I'd never seen him do before i always thought he hated smoking in the house. Georg was drinking whiskey already and kept on about killing Anton. Gustav and Tom were no where to be seen I assumed they were in the office.

"This is shit" bill said staring at the ashtray he'd made from an empty can of energy drink.

"I've already said what we should do" Georg slurred

"Half the world would be dead if we did it your way" bill sighed

"I'd be happier for it" he laughed

This made bill smile.

I went and sat next to Roma on the sofa she looked at me nervously.

"It will be fine, I think" I assured her but I didn't really believe myself

"Who even is Anton" Roma asked

"Russian mafia he's new took over from his brother a year or two ago he's impulsive and aggressive he killed five guys in Italy before coming here" bill said

"Jesus so this is serious then" I said

"Yeah really fucking serious we were hoping we could keep it under control but I don't think he ever had the intention of coexisting together" he sighed

I nodded, the door to the office opened and Tom called bill and georg in bill snatched the bottle from Georg handing it to Roma to deal with.

She poured it down the sink and sat with her head in her hands.

"I've got such a headache do you think we could ever have some time where we're all happy" she sighed

"I mean we had like a whole 3 days that's quite a lot round here" I half smiled at her

She snorted at this and stood up.

"I'm going to shower then we can go see angel for a bit?" She asked

I nodded I also left and went to shower I stared at the main bathroom door as I went to the room. I doubted now was the time to ask Tom if I could sort out getting it all replaced.

I took a long shower still indulging in being able to wash properly. After I showered I changed into shorts and a T-shirt it was warm out today spring had really started and the sun was out most days now. I headed into the garden sitting on the grass by Angel, Roma joined me a few minutes later. We sat discussing random things.

"So you're happy here now" Roma asked

"I think so I mean toms different now I feel happy with him safe with him"

She smiled at me I slapped her arm.

We sat speaking like this before we headed back in the spring breeze making us both a little cold. Inside she went to put away her shopping from yesterday I made my way to toms room unsure of what to do with myself.

I'd never really looked around in here I doubted Tom would see it as snooping anymore. I opened his wardrobe staring at the vast amount of jeans, hoodies and shirts. The large sideboard that ran under the window was covered in draws. Most contained random junk. One was locked but I knew that to be where Tom kept his gun. In the bottom of one draw I found an old photo album I pulled it out, I flicked through it slowly there were lots of photos mainly of Tom and Bill as children bill singing into a toy microphone Tom playing guitar. There were photos of them as group when they first met they looked more like a boy band than gang members.

The door creaked open Tom came in I gasped and dropped the book instantly feeling guilty for going through his things.

"Snooping are we" he raised an eyebrow at me
