Katsuki's eyes widened at what Izuku just told him. 'Me..?' he questioned as he opened his mouth but quickly shut it again and clenched his teeth. "Kacchan... I like you.. but I'm scared that... If I lost you too.. I don't think I could pull myself together again..." Izuku wiped his tears as he continued crying. Katsuki grabbed Izuku and kissed him deeply and held him close. "I'm not going anywhere Deku. I will NEVER leave your side" he whispered in Izuku's ear as he pecked him on the cheek. "You can't know that, Kacchan..." Izuku grabbed hold of Katsuki and buried his face in the base of his neck.
He pulled away and looked at the scars on Katsuki's shoulder from the accident and the countless surgeries. Katsuki grabbed Izuku's hand and kissed them as he looked at Izuku passionately. "Nothing in this world could ever take me away from you." he announced as he placed his hand on Izuku's cheek. "And I mean nothing." he smiled, leaning and giving Izuku a peck on the lips. "Izuku, I love you. More than anything in this world. From the moment you bumped into me at the pool for the first time, I was in love" Katsuki confessed looking into Izuku's beautiful green eyes. Izuku started to cry again but this time with happiness "I.. Love you too, Kacchan" he responded and leaned in to kiss the blonde.
Katsuki held Izuku tight and picked him up to carry him to bed. They spent a night of passion together and when it came time to sleep, Katsuki pulled Izuku in close and buried his face into Izuku's neck. He planted kisses all over the back of Izuku's face and head "I love you so much, Izuku" he whispered to him as he gave a final kiss on Izuku's forehead. "I love you too, Katsuki" Izuku responded and the 2 fell asleep.
The next morning, Izuku woke up a little earlier, he grabbed a tshirt off the floor and made his way to Katsuki's kitchen to make breakfast. He kept revisting their first night together in his head as he brewed a fresh pot of coffee. Katsuki grunted as he woke up to the smell of fresh coffee and food floating around his apartment. Throwing on a pair of pants and headed to the kitchen to see Izuku standing over the stove in his tshirt, he leaned agains the wall and watched. Izuku was humming a song and flipping french toast when he turned around and saw Katsuki watching him.
"Ohh.." Izuku was startled "G-good Morning.. Kacchan" he smiled nervously, turning bright red in embarrassment. Katsuki walked over and hugged Izuku "Did you sleep well?" Katsuki asked as he kissed Izuku's forehead and walked over to the cupboard for 2 mugs. "Yes, and you?" Izuku responded as he went back to making breakfast. "I slept great, but I woke up cold since the other body in my bed disappeared" Katsuki teased as he poured them both a cup of coffee. "I... I woke up early and thought I should make breakfast" Izuku chuckled as he plated their food. "It's Sunday, what are your plans for the day?" Katsuki asked, sitting at the table to eat. "I haven't really made any. I was just going to visit the book store" Izuku told him as he washed the pans he used to make breakfast before sitting down to eat.
"What time do you start today?" he asked as he turned off the tap and removed the gloves on his hand. "I don't, I have today off as well" Katsuki responded, smirking at Izuku as he sat down at the table. "Let's spend the day together." Katsuki sipped his coffee and looked at Izuku. "You want to come with me to a book store?" Izuku questioned cocking his brow. 'What would he do at a book store?' he thought as he looked into those crimson eyes he loved so much. "Why not? I like to read too. Besides, I wanna take my boyfriend out on a date" Katsuki smirked. 'Boyfriend..' Izuku thought as he smiled back and nodded his head.
The 2 spent the entire day going all around town. They visited Izuku's favourite book store, went to a cafe and had lunch. They decided to take a walk in the park and enjoy the beautiful weather, sitting down on a bench and watching people walk around and kids play in the playground. They talked about endless nothings when Katsuki's phone rang, cutting off their conversation. Katsuki looked at his phone to see his doctor calling from the hospital. "Hello?" he answered and waved a finger to Izuku as he got up. Izuku started to grow a little anxious but paitently waited as he watched children run around.
A few minutes later Katsuki came back "Sorry, that was my surgeon" he started to explain as he sat back down "They scheduled my last surgery a month from now" he explained as he put his arm over the back of the bench. Katsuki noticed Izuku becoming anxious at the thought of surgery and placed his hand on his head "I'll be fine, this isn't my first but it should be my last" he smiled pulling Izuku's head onto his shoulder. Izuku felt slightly reassured but was still nervous about his new boyfriend being put to sleep. "How about this, let's head back home and watch some movies" Katsuki said as he stood up and held out his hand for Izuku to grab onto. Izuku looked up and smiled "Sounds good" he reached out his hand taking Katsuki's in his and the 2 headed home.
