A few days have passed. He still couldn't use his powers, they were just gone.

But, he's masked his fear well. He did start getting used to his new friends.

Ocean Jasper with her some mindset and wholesome vibe.

Orange Spodumene with her hip and trendy attitude. She just always seemed happy and with the flow.

Skinny Jasper and her playfully snide attitude and sarcasm. She always acted like the cool one.

Nephrite and her cheerful and bubbly personality and her unique passion for all things flying.

And Bixbite was surprisingly intelligent with combat and kind of a nerd for weapons. She also came on as intense for action movies.

But today all his other friends were busy with work, and he just hanged around at home watching his shows with Lapis and Peridot.

A knock came from the door.

He got up and answered the door. He saw the Pink Pearl named Volleyball.

Ze-Ro: Oh, hey Volleyball.

Volleyball: Hi Ze-Ro. Are you free today? I was hoping we could hang out.

Before he could answer Lapis came to his side.

Lapis: He'd love too.

Ze-Ro blushed and stepped away awkwardly.

Ze-Ro: Yeah you're right, let's go hang out Volleyball.

Ze-Ro rushed off and Volleyball followed.

Peridot and Lapis were confused, he never rushed off like that before.

Peridot: What was that about?

Lapis: He's been acting weird like that around me for a few days now.

Ze-Ro and Volleyball strolled Beach City together. They got a deluxe basket of fries and found a lovely spot on the beach.

Ze-Ro: So, what made you want to hang out?

Volleyball: I guess I still feel a little bad about a few days ago.

Ze-Ro: Well don't be, it's nothing really.

Volleyball: I was also wondering if we could go to the spa together today.

Ze-Ro blushed with embarrassment at the thought of seeing more nude gems.

Ze-Ro: I'm not so sure. But, it really was relaxing.

Volleyball: So?

Ze-Ro: Fuck it. Let's go.

Volleyball: Yay!

Volleyball clutched his arm and sprinted off to the warp pad.

Next thing he knew it he was back in the valley and they made their way to the spa.

Ze-Ro saw that this place was as crowded as usual.

He then saw Volleyball change form and he blushed and averted his gaze.

He undressed and stepped into the water. He found a semi isolated corner of the pool and Volleyball followed.

They settled down and Ze-Ro relaxed.

Volleyball: I love this place.

Ze-Ro: It's, fine.

Volleyball: By the way, why do you look so embarrassed?

Ze-Ro: I, honestly don't know.

Volleyball: You don't know why?

Ze-Ro: It's just, when I look around I get this weird feeling in me and my instincts tell me to look away, I just don't get why.
