Chapter 15: Hitman hits

It was another week past, and Ze-Ro had officially adopted the Pitbull he named Love.

She was the sweetest and kindest and most playful animal in all of Beach City.

Ze-Ro has gotten all the things required for a dog. A bed, several toys, plenty of food and most importantly all the love and attention in the world.

Ze-Ro and Love were inseparable. He took her on walks all the time, and played catch, and practically spent every waking moment together.

They even cuddled together when they were asleep. Peridot was of course jealous, but Ze-Ro was happy and that's all she could ask for.

Then, Ze-Ro's weekly trip to the spa came up. It broke his heart but he had to leave Love home for a little bit. He didn't want to get dog hair all in the water, plus she was terrified of water.

Ze-Ro gave Love plenty of kisses.

Ze-Ro: I'll be back in a few hours pumpkin. You be good now alright?

Peridot: Don't worry, I can watch her since Lapis is going painting.

Ze-Ro: Alright. Are we still going to that, "rave"?

Lapis: Yeah, it looks like a lot of fun.

Peridot: Plus Orange Spodumene is going to help, you should go support her.

Ze-Ro: Right right. But I've listened to rave music she recommended to me on my, "phone", and I don't really get it.

Lapis: Me neither. But everyone's going so it aught to be fun.

Ze-Ro: She won't, hate me if I tell her rave music isn't my thing, right?

Lapis: Listen to yourself? You really think that.

Ze-Ro: No? Maybe?

Lapis: Look, just go and relax, let the anxiety wash away.

Ze-Ro: Yeah, you're probably right.

Ze-Ro left for the spa to relax once more.

Lapis and Peridot looked at Love, who seemed as full of energy as ever.

Lapis: Alright I'm gonna go paint. Peridot can you look after her?

Peridot couldn't help but get a little emotional looking at Love.

Peridot: You're just like her.

Peridot went over to look at an old picture of her, Lapis and their old pet Pumpkin.

Peridot: Well, not really, but you're just like her.

Love gave a happy bark.

Peridot: Y'know what, yo heart to go for a walk?

Love wagged her tail and ran around the house.

Peridot: Yeah you do!

Peridot grabbed a leash and attached it to love. She troded to the door and opened it. In that very instant Love went off like a bullet.

Peridots small body was pulled and dragged like a small doll as the strong dog went off running for fun.

Peridot screamed all over town as Love explored the town in her own energetic way.

At the Spa, Ze-Ro relaxed, letting all his worried wash away in the refreshing water.

He then saw Orange Spodumene. She was pacing around the spa, looking uneasy.

He swam over to see what the problem was.

Ze-Ro: Sup Orange Spodumene?

Orange: Hm? Oh, hey Z.
