(There is a small retcon that I made that takes place at the end of the last chapter, nothing too major, but I added a couple of new characters with the Tsar-Führ part of the last chapter, if you can, reread the last of the last chapter to be all caught up)
It was the next day, and Ze-Ro nor the others went to sleep. They were all to busy trying to force him to go to sleep. The hilarity of the situation wasn't ever witnessed.
But the image of Peridot grappling onto Ze-Ro while he flailed around Lapis holding on to his arm.
But it was morning now, and they were now on the move.
Lapis: Okay Z, it's time to go. Peridot secure his other hand.
Ze-Ro: What?
Peridot grasped his other hand tightly.
Ze-Ro: Oh come on, seriously?
Lapis: We aren't letting go until we can trust you not to go back to Jasper.
Ze-Ro: This is ridiculous!
Lapis: Fine, look me in the eyes and tell me you won't go fighting again.
Ze-Ro attempted to look in her eyes. But as he talked his eyes instinctively broke eye contact.
Ze-Ro: I, promise.
Lapis: Aha! You see? The second we let go you'll go running off to Jasper. It's not healthy, and neither of us will standby and watch you put all the progress you made down the drain. That's why we've asked for extra help.
Ze-Ro: Oh great who? Amethyst?
Peridot: Nope.
Suddenly, Pearl stepped into the house.
Pearl: Hi Ze-Ro.
Ze-Ro: Oh no, Pearl?!
Pearl: What? You have something against me?
Ze-Ro: No! It's fine.
They dragged Ze-Ro outside.
Peridot: The search for a hobby will commence!
Pearl: Oh this'll be easy. I teach a whole class helping gems learn earth culture. You'll have a hobby by noon.
Ze-Ro: Oh, joy.
They all walked along the streets, Lapis and Peridot gripping his hands.
Pearl: What are you two doing?
Peridot: Making sure that he doesn't go get himself beat up again.
Pearl: That was true!?
Pearl pulled on his ear.
Ze-Ro: Ah!
Pearl: You don't get to just fight in the woods! That never ends well.
Ze-Ro: Alright alright! Let go!
Pearl did let go. And Ze-Ro had a feeling, like he had a wish fulfilled.
Pearl: Good, now let's go get you a hobby. You two, keep an extra firm grip.
Peridot: Way ahead of you.
Ze-Ro was embarrassed, watching all the spectators giggle and thinking it was adorable that two gems were holding his hands.
Peridot: Okay, so what comes to mind?
Ze-Ro: I, don't know.
Lapis: Then we aren't going to stop until we find something.
Pearl: How about Funland?
They wandered around Beach City, specific into Funland.
Peridot: Maybe rides and carnival games could be your thing.
