Lapis had brought Ze-Ro back to Little Homeschool.
She put him down and Ze-Ro was able to walk on his own.
Ze-Ro: Okay, so where are they?
Lapis: Well, I don't know, they were in the woods when you left.
Steven then walked out of Lapis's house.
Steven: Oh thank goodness your back!
Steven ran over to them.
Ze-Ro: Where are my gems?
Steven: Well after you left like that, they, didn't take it to well. Especially the Pearl.
Ze-Ro: Crap...
Steven: The Cinnabar, Pezzottaite, and Pearl are inside. The Fire Opal is behind the house.
Ze-Ro: Can I talk to them. Or wait do they hate me? But if they do, then should I go for it and talk to them or is that pushing their boundaries? Or-
Steven then grabbed Ze-Ro's hands and stopped his tangent.
Steven: Z, deep breaths.
Ze-Ro took a breath.
Ze-Ro: I, made them...
Steven: Well, yeah it seems like it.
Ze-Ro remembered his talk with doctor Maheswaren.
Ze-Ro: Does this make me, their father?
Steven: Well, I guess? And you should talk to them.
Ze-Ro: You're right. Take me to them.
Steven lead Ze-Ro into the house and lo and behold, the three gems Cinnabar, Pezzottaite and Red Pearl.
Red Pearl paced around the entire house, tidying things up, and looked genuinely stressed. She firmly believed her diamond hated her.
Pezzottaite was flying around, still only making bell sounds, not saying a word. She spent her time playing with love.
Cinnabar was slouching on the couch, munching on chips and watching TV with amethyst. She seemed as dreary as before.
Ze-Ro: Um, hey?
Red Pearl noticed his entrance instantly. She dropped all the things she was carrying and ran right over.
Red Pearl: MY DIAMOND!
She kneeled to the ground. She then shimmied a little closer.
Red Pearl: My brilliant diamond. Forgive thy insolence. Please just name anything to make my mistakes right!
Ze-Ro: No, please get up. You did nothing wrong. I was the one who made you feel bad about yourself. I made you all feel bad-
Cinnabar: Not me.
Ze-Ro: I, okay? Ouch...
Ze-Ro shook it off and drew his attention
Towards Pezzottaite, playing with his dog.
Ze-Ro: Do you, like Love?
Pezzottaite nodded.
Ze-Ro: Oh good.
Red Pearl remained kneeling.
Red Pearl: What is thy decree my diamond?
Ze-Ro: Uh, stand up? Please?
Red Pearl stood right up and was firm, ready for orders. She was so still mad firm she refused to breath.
Red Pearl: What now my Diamond?
