It was the dead of night. Z went to bed early, it was an emotional day for him, and he looked forward to tomorrow.
Doubt lingered in his mind still.
"They are just doing it because they feel bad" or "They just want an excuse to party". All of that was on repeat while he slept.
His usual awareness while sleeping was occupied due to this. So he didn't notice the figures in the dark creeping up to him as he slept.
As he still dreamed, a new dream came to be. It was different from any dream before.
He was standing in the dark. And from his chest sprung forth a crimson flame.
Then other thing came from the darkness.
Green Winds whirled around and around, tearing apart everything around it. The winds were so sharp they would slice through anything.
Purple stones erupted from the earth, intricate details and stonework littered the fields and planes, and seemed indestructible.
Orange plants covered and consumed everything, binding everything, growing larger and more grand in design. It was a true spectacle and show of power.
The dream then ended.
He then got an uneasy feeling. He barely opened his eyes. But he could see figures looking over him.
Before he could react he was bombarded with loud and oddly cheerful honks. The lights came on and Z tossed and turned at the surprise that he fell off the bed and shouted.
He got the blanket off of him. He saw that is was all his friends brandishing party horns.
Ze-Ro: Oh really? Not the horns.
Skinny: Don't blame us, blame how fun these things are.
Nephrite: Come on times a wasting!
Ocean: It's party time!
Ze-Ro: Wha- Party time?
Z looked at the clock on his. And was shock with how early this party was starting.
It also seems there is recent breaking news that worldwide there have been sudden and powerful gusts of wind causing havoc.
Ze-Ro: It's midnight!
Orange: Yup, it just turned June 21. So that's when the party starts.
Ze-Ro: It's only been like, 6 hours. How much could you have done?
Bixbite: Look outside and see.
Ze-Ro went over to the window. He was shocked to see the whole town gathered, cheering, wishing him the best birthday ever.
Ze-Ro: Woah. Hey now I may get by without much sleep, but humans are different. A party this big with bug the whole town!
Skinny: Yeah no duh. We aren't jerks. We rigged up a noice canceling field. The town won't hear a peep, unless they want to join in that is.
It looks like all the gems he has met were down there. The Famethyst, various gems at the spa (clothed thankfully) even some crystal gems like Amethyst, Bismuth and Pearl.
He even spotted the reds having fun.
He saw that the whole town was decorated with streamers, banners saying happy birthday. They even had lots of activities planned.
