It was a week since the date. Z had hardly left his room, only to take Love on walks, and occasionally talk to his little reds.
But it was painfully obvious that he was in a new cycle of depression. He hardly ate, never left his room, and especially wouldn't talk about it.
They all grew very concerned of course, and they couldn't get any answers from Avalon either, who similarly became a complete shut in.
Ze-Ros friends came by around. But Ze-Ro wasn't budging.
Lapis was in living room, thinking of a new plan. She was joined by Peridot, Steven, Amethyst and Pearl.
Lapis: How are we supposed to get him out? It's just like before.
Steven: I, don't really know. We've tried everything, his friends, the reds, even his dog. Nothing.
Pearl: If only he talked about what happened.
Peridot: Wait, he made friends with some rose quartz at the human zoo right?
Steven: Yeah?
Peridot: Well they are known for there healing powers, maybe they could help?
Steven: Hm, I don't know. Maybe? I guess the healing power of a rose quartz is different from mine. But, this an emotional pain situation.
Peridot: Yeah, but Rose Quartz, they just make everything happier just by being around.
Amethyst: That's true, whenever I go visit the Famethyst, those rose quartz man, they just lighten up the mood. They're so bubbly and nice it's almost intoxicating.
Pearl: Well when it comes to joy, nothing beats a Rose Quartz, that's for certain.
Steven then remembered something, it involved the Rose Quartz directly. A semi-decent request sent by them specifically.
Steven: Wait a minute...THAT'S IT!
Lapis: You have a plan!
Steven: Yeah I do! Amethyst, can you get in contact with the Zoo?
Amethyst: Alright, what for?
Steven: Z needs another playdate.
Z was in his room, he was shirtless. He rubbed the giant scar a Ross his gut, this one was one of the biggest obstacles on his body, as of a beast slashed him.
The event of that day was in the vault of his mind. He was remembering her, and what happened that night.
Ze-Ro: It's all my fault. If I didn't attack, or leave when I was told to, she would be alive right now.
Ze-Ro then heard a knock on his door.
Ze-Ro: Leave me be, please?
Steven: It's me, and I'm not gonna keep pestering you okay? I do have a huge favor to ask though. Want to give your Rose Quartz friends a tour of the town?
Steven heard some foot steps approach the door. The door then cracked open. Z was a mess, bags under his eyes, eyelids red from crying, hair was a mess, he was even growing stubble on his face.
Ze-Ro: What?
Steven: Yeah, the Rose Quartz gems have been asking for a tour for a little while now. And your the perfect one to give the tour.
Ze-Ro: Me? The perfect one?
Steven: Yeah! Besides you can show yourself how much you've progressed. This'll be a first for you right?
