Ze-Ro transformed into a top heavy lizard-beast with a flat face. His tail grew long and his body was lifted with spikes and his scales became like burning coal.
His arms were long and thick like hammers. His tail like a whip. His hair grew long and wild. His uniform was now in tatters all over his body.
And he grew to an imposing size of over 12 feet, and must've gained a few thousand pounds.
Steven got up and went back to the gems.
Steven: This isn't good, the diamonds are poofed!
Garnet: So we have to get him to the pool! Steven do you have spare diamond fluid?
Steven: Yeah, back at the house.
Peridot: Uh, guys, he's looking right at us...
A fully corrupted Ze-Ro stared at them like a starving deranged wolf. His drool burned the very earth.
Steven: Dad! Drive away now! Connie, can you help us?
Connie: Right!
Connie hopped out of the car and Greg drove away to safety.
The Beast charged right towards the van and prepared to smash it with its massive fists.
But it was stopped in his tracks as it smashed its fists on the ground, narrowly missing the hood of the van.
Greg successfully drove away and he looked back, seeing Steven with that monster. But he had his full trust.
The Beast turned and saw that Garnet used all her strength to grab his tail.
The Beast raised its tail and whipped Garnet right off.
The Beast now had its sights on all the gems.
Peridot ran up closer.
Peridot: Hey Ze-Ro! It's me! Do you need the cuddle-dot? Bring it in!
Peridot opened her arms for a hug.
The Beast swung with its claws bared and sharpened.
Amethyst: Peri!
Amethyst used her whip to reel her in, saving her from the beasts claws that torn open the ground like a hot knife through butter.
Peridot: But he always liked Cuddle-dot, even when to told me to get off and try his best to pry me off.
Amethyst: I like the idea Peri.
Lapis: There isn't a lot of water around here. I won't be much help!
The Beast made another charge towards the gems, but Pearl used her spear to shoot some beams of light, irritating him enough to get his attention.
Pearl: Ze-Ro, I know you are hurting, but please get ahold of yourself. Just wait here and we can help you!
The Beast lunged forward and smashed the ground. Pearl avoided by jumping but nothing she was doing could even leave a dent.
Pearl: Steven! Get Lion and prepare a portal to the fountain.
Steven: Right!
Steven whistled with his fingers. But Lion was taking his time to respond. After that fight on the city, he was exhausted.
Lapis flew around the Beasts head to distract him like a fly.
The Beast waved its claws around, making everyone move around to avoid his devastating attacks.
The Beast grew very frustrated and something bellowed in its guts.
A light glowed on its belly, then the light rose up through its throat all the way to its mouth.
