With Yumi out, it's a 1 versus 8 now, Kenji the leader, at a loss for words at what just went down. Somehow, he was unable to read his foes' thoughts, causing Yumi to be defeated.
"That poor girl, do you think she'll be fine, father?" Fuyumi up in the stands watched the events down below with her father sat next to her. They bore witness to the brutal attack to the girl who had a broken nose.
"Hmph! Knowing that old ladies treatment, she'll be good as new in minutes." Endeavor strongly remembers her treatment back in his younger days in school. The number of times she would scold him for injuring his classmates is too many to count.
"It seems that the ragtag group is in a sort of panic after that. Arguably, their best player at capturing Midoriya has been taken out! Will Kenji lead this team to victory? Or will the pressure make him succumb to the powerful puncher? I'm interested in seeing the outcome, ladies and gentlemen."
"Hah! They can try, but I guarantee that Izuku wins this." Endeavor smirked. There's no chance in hell that these students will win againts his nephew.
Fuyumi raised a brow at that, a small smile on her face. "You really that confident in Izu. I mean, he's strong and all, but he's outnumbered." At the very least, she sees him struggling before getting a dominant victory.
"He is his father's son. My brother Hisashi was very stubborn, if anything. Never gave up on anything. When he became a firefighter, he was the best damn one there is. Saved more lives arguably than a pro hero, even if the odds were against him, he still saved the people. As much as it pains me to say this, Hisashi, in a way, reminded me of All Might. When he would arrive at the scene of a fire, an aura would cover the crowd, as if they knew that things would be fine knowing that Hisashi the firefighter was there. And his son is the spitting image of him, in the face of insurmountable odds. He'll keep fighting till he drops." And, he's seen it firsthand, that damn Yakuza group attacking him out in plain sight. Had Hawks not arrived to help, things might've been bad. He never said it, but Endeavor was thankful for the bird brain that night.
"I would have love to meet Uncle Hisashi." The flame heroes daughter smiled.
The father hugged his daughter. "He would've loved to meet you and your siblings."
After the heartwarming father and daughter moment, back down in the action, Izuku was making quick work of some of the stragglers while Kenji regrouped with his four ranged fighters.
"It's like he shut off his brain. I can't get a read on him."
Takeo, being the oldest of the bunch, suggested giving an all-out assault. No holds barred, and I hope for the best. "He can basically take us out in a single hit. We have to try and do the same. One powerful blast, and we can take him out."
Beside him, Ryuji, Kotaro, and Hitomi all agreed.
"Look, Kenji, you're the best at close combat, so you'll have to keep him occupied. Just keep reading all of our minds, and we'll let you know when to duck a blast." It was risky, but it was their only shot. The three all believed in Takeo. All they needed was Kenji to agree.
"Argh! Fine damnit, but you better not hit me by accident, or I'm gonna give you extra after-school duties."
Kenji took a deep breath and exhaled before getting closer to Izuku. Seeing him up close with no emotion on his face whatsoever was damn eery as hell, but no matter. If they could win with this strategy, being used as a means to keep him occupied is worth it.
