After 3 months,
Meera was excited to finally meet Akshad after all these months of video calls and chatting. She was currently sitting on her flight to New York and reflecting upon the last few months.
Mrs. Sheetal was very warm and motherly towards her. She took care of her food habits and taught her their lifestyle.
On the other hand her blog was now giving her stable income. In short, life was going just as planned.
After one hour, her flight landed in New York. She took her luggage from the carrier and went out of doors. Akshad was waiting impatiently to meet her, he was missing her physical presence a lot.
When he saw her at the exit gate of JFK - John F. Kennedy International Airport. Akshad froze in his place. Meera looked like a goddess in her traditional suit. Her long earrings dangle with her body.
She wore a bright smile on her face. She winked as she came closer to him. Automatically his hands pulled her into a tight embrace.
She wrapped her hands around his muscular body and whispered in his ears "I missed you, Hubby".
He smiled and replied, "Me too, Wifey"
Akshad let her go from his embrace after 5 min, took her luggage into the parking lot. After 1 hr of driving they reached his apartment. It was a beautiful 2 bhk house, well furnished and modern home.
She fell in love with the view from the balcony. She could see the 'New York Sea' and the setting sun over the sea looked majestic. Meera took out her camera and clicked a picture for her blog.
Akshad made them dinner and soon they were seated on the sofa with a glass of wine. Akshad brought a key from his pocket and presented to Meera with some documents to sign.
Meera was now confused, "What is this Akshad? Are we moving somewhere else?" Akshad chuckled and nodded his head in 'NO'.
"My love, this is your welcome gift !" Reading the papers Meera got to know that those were papers for a company called "Meshad".
'Meshad' was formed one month ago as a marketing firm by Akshad, other companies can come to outsource their marketing work to the 'Meshad' team.
"Meera, I need your signatures to form this new blogging section in this firm. Basically you will help people grow their business through blogging techniques.
I already have a set of people to assist you in this journey. I saw your work and saw you grow through your hard work so my love, believe in yourself and accept this offer." Akshad told her.
Meera put the papers down and dived in for a passionate kiss. After showing him how thankful she was through her kiss. She let him go.
"Akshad you didn't have to do this, but I appreciate your efforts. And I would be a fool to decline such an offer."
Meera took the pen and signed the papers. "But, what are these keys for?"
"My love, these are keys to your own cabin and your own floor in our office building" he smiled and squeezed her hands.
Meera couldn't believe it and kept asking him silly questions. Fed up with her insecurities, Akshad held her hand and took her in front of the mirror.
"Look at you Meera, What's not to love? What's not to desire?" his hand was roaming over her body.
"I apologize for the time when I doubted your success and passion for what you do. Now I know that my wife is way more Ambitious than me."
Meera turned away from the mirror, tears beamed in her eyes. "Akshad it's fine. This is not your fault, I know the way you reacted is because of the society norms. They taught you to be a man and provide for a woman. But I am grateful that now you understand and appreciate me as an individual."
She smiled and hugged him. "My love, thanks to you for proving me wrong and fighting my opinions. You are truly 'My Ambitious Bride'.
Saying this Akshad carried her bridal style to the bed and they made love so passionately like it was their first time again.
Akshad realized that his Ambitious Wife is his most prized possession till now. He cannot buy this with any amount of money, he earned this by giving her respect and trusting her.
Meera realized that when she first met Akshad, she thought he was rich & arrogant.
But now she realized that in reality he is loving, caring , supportive and most importantly that he is very humble. She was glad that she got married to him and is proud of him.
