"We should go shopping." Bri states. She never gets tired of shopping. This girl has a full closet filled with a million outfits. "I don't have time for shopping or the excess money." I reply. "We still are going shopping back to school right?" Bri checks. "Yes, I'm saving up for that." I tell her.
I'm fully prepared to go shopping for clothes for school because I've always loved back to school shopping but this is the first time I am fully paying for it. I don't mind paying for it and I don't really need anything new but I guess I just want to experience it with my best friend.
I feel my phone vibrate and I reach to check my phone. "What happened?" Bri asks. "I'm not sure, I'm about to check," I tell her and pick up my phone to look at it. The most recent notification on my screen is a message from Mrs.Sinn, I open it and see she has sent me a message detailing the things I need to do while working for her.
1. Never be late, always be on time
2. Set the table for dinner and heat it up if arrival calls for that
3. If Hannah is there, read her a bedtime story, and no tv after eight pm
4. No parties or extra guests
5. No drinking or smoking
6. There may be deliveries to sort out. Complete them.
7. Feed the dogs. Follow the time schedule to know if you need to.
8. Dress correctly, no showy clothes
9. Do not fall asleep at work
10. Don't come in when sick
11. Call one day in advance to cancel a day
12. No romantic relationships with anyone in the family or staff
"That's a list." I hear Bri say over my shoulder. "Yeah, but I guess it's seemingly understandable." I shrug, not really minding the rules. The only rule I find surprising is romantic relationships with any of the Sinn family. I'm sure she only mentions this because they are my age. Did people use to try and do that? Not that I intend on having any of those kinds of relationships. I've never dated, had a boyfriend, kissed anyone, or been touched and I'm turning twenty soon. I'm not ashamed of that but I feel those are the reasons why I am not going to have to worry about those rules.
It's not like any of them would want to be with me anyways. Or try to be.
