A:N: I hope everyone likes the character Zara. She is loosely based on GreenDruidess' amazing Lizzy. Zara will feature briefly and her relationship with Peter will be hinted at, only. If you want to read the real Peter/Lizzy story then go read Like Loving the Dead, I promise you will not be disappointed. If you want to read a story about a couple that are endgame then go read that. Also I added a photo of Johnny onto this chapter.

I opened the mail slot and pulled out some envelopes, looking through them. Nothing from mom. It had been a further two weeks and the police hadn't found her or Lionel. I was beginning to lose hope. Most of the mail was for Kenny. There was a small envelope for Josh. I walked back up the stairs and opened the door and entered the apartment.

Josh and Kenny were on the couch. Kenny had been scrolling through Playstation Plus, trying to find a game to play.

"It does help when you don't suck at games." Josh said.

"Once again, you can fuck right off." Kenny snapped.

I walked round the couch. Josh reached forward, grasping my hips and pulling me onto his lap. I giggled. Kenny made a gagging noise in the back of his throat. Josh let go of my right hip, punching Kenny on the upper arm.

"Fuckin' asshole," Kenny laughed. "Also please don't do couple-y stuff in front of me."

I giggled and handed Kenny his mail. He took them and looked through them, rolling his eyes. He set them on the table by the couch. I handed Josh the small envelope. I curled up on his lap as he opened it.

It was an invitation from Ava, the little girl from the video for her 8th birthday. I smiled when I saw she'd added my name to the invite. The buzzer went for the door. Kenny groaned and got up. He answered it. Two minutes later, Zara breezed into the lounge.

"Sup boys," She grinned, then smiled at me. "And Daisy."

"What're you doin' here?" Kenny asked.

"Well, if you're gonna be an absolute dickwad, then I'm not sharing my birthday cake with you." She said, laughing.

"Ooh cake." I smiled.

"Yes, my girl comes through," Zara said. "Stand and receive a hug."

I got up and she set the box down. She gave me a tight hug. She still smelled like cherries and marzipan. She danced on the spot and giggled.

"Your birthday was two weeks ago." Kenny said, still looking through the Playstation store.

"Yeah, but it's my birthday month." Zara said, pouting slightly.

She let go of me and I went to sit back on the couch. Josh grabbed my hips, moving me onto his lap. Zara raised a brow.

"Jeee-sus christ boy." She said, cackling.

"Yeah, I keep sayin' it's gross, but do they listen to Kenny, no they don't." Kenny laughed too.

"Shut the fuck up." Josh said.

I giggled and curled up on his lap. Zara sat on the floor, pulling the scrunchie from her auburn hair. She dragged her fingers through it, wincing.

"It's so greasy," She whined. "I need a new job. One that doesn't involve making pizzas in my dad's restaurant."

"To be fair, Pete loves your dad's pizza." Kenny said, shrugging.

I looked at Zara and I noticed the slight change in her eyes at the mention of Peter's name. She plastered a smile on her face.

"That's cause we make the best pizza in all of NYC." She said, adopting a slight accent.

"Your dad's Mario." I said.
