I woke up the following morning, knowing it was my birthday and feeling so overjoyed. I opened my eyes, smiling when I saw Josh was already awake.
"Watching me sleep again?" I giggled.
"You say that like it's a bad thing." He replied.
"Is it like in a romcom where the guy looks at the girl and it's so romantic." I said, and Josh frowned at me.
"I wouldn't say it's as stupidly romantic as that." He said.
"I-i like when you're romantic." I said.
"If you tell anyone, I will deny it, little mouse." Josh grinned.
"Our secret." I giggled, wrapping my arm over his shoulder and cuddling him.
"Yeah," He smirked, eyes meeting mine. "Happy Birthday, my love."
I smiled at that and my face burned. I leaned closer and he kissed me, lips moving against mine. I whined when his hand gripped my thigh, bringing it over his hip and pressing me closer. We pulled apart, but stayed close.
"Shower?" I said, and blushed when Josh smirked again.
"Was kinda hopin' you'd want to have some fun first." He said, and my face hurt from my smile.
Y-yeah," I said. "We'd have to be quiet."
"Who're you tellin,' little mouse?" He said.
"Reminding myself." I giggled again.
"Bet I can still make you scream my name, little mouse." He murmured.
"Quiet." I said, pressing my finger to my lips.
"Yeah, I'll remind you of that in a few minutes." He said.
"I can be quiet." I insisted.
"Let's test that theory, Daisy." Josh said, motioning for me to turn around.
I shifted and yelped when he pulled me closer. He made no move to touch me yet apart from to grip my throat in his hand. I pressed my lips together, eyes flicking to him. He was watching me, smirking and I realized I probably shouldn't have challenged him like this.
"Bought you a present, little mouse." He said.
"What kind of present?" I giggled.
"Close your eyes." He said, and I did so.
I felt the bed shift as he moved away from me. I felt a little disappointed and tried not to let the sadness show on my face.
"Will I like this surprise?" I asked.
"Did you like the vibrator?" He asked, and I frowned at that.
"Y-yeah." I giggled.
I felt the bed shift when he moved back towards me. His hand touched my arm and I smiled when he kissed my shoulder.
"Open your eyes." He said, and I opened them.
"Weird pink things." I said, giggling.
"Be a good girl and get rid of the pajama top." Josh said, and my skin prickled when his breath ghosted over my ear.
"O-ok." I said, and shifted to sit up.
I removed my pajama top and glanced over my shoulder at him. I wrapped my arms around myself, giggling when he raised a brow.
"Gone all shy on me, little mouse?" He murmured.
"N-no." I said.
"C'mere then." He replied.
