The next morning we woke to the kids knocking at the door. My eyes flew open as I realized the state that we were both in.

Steve lay next to me, still asleep, peacefully unaware. The knocking continued as I shook him hastily.

"Steve the kids are at the door." I whispered panicked.

He opens his eyes slowly and smiled at me adoringly, with no care in the world.

"Good morning," he whispers seductively.

Flash backs of last night play through my head, I starts to get hot, but I'm pulled out of them by the knocking.

"Give us 2 minutes, kids." Steve calls out.

The knocking ceased immediately with an audible, "Okay."

Steve looks back at me as the panic begins to ceside in my body. I released a deep breath while Steve lays there relaxed.

"You're chill this morning," I point out.

He smiles. "I'm a happy man."

I playfully smack him and roll out of the bed, running to the bathroom. "Come on the kids are not going to wait that long."

We made quick work of brushing our teeth and putting our pajamas back on. The kids were roaming the hallway waiting for us, excitedly.

"Merry Christmas guys!" I say cheerfully.

"Merry Christmas!" They both yell.

"That was longer than two minutes," Travis pouts.

"Sorry little man. I should've asked for 5," Steve says rubbing his little head. "Did you guys wake up all the grandparents, Avery and Alanna?"

"Yup! They're all downstairs waiting for us. We woke them first," Ainsley says.

We follow the kids downstairs and I can smell hot cocoa, coffee, and food in the air. There also Christmas music playing. I find everyone in the living room and two private chefs in the kitchen.

"Merry Christmas," both of the chefs say.

"Merry Christmas," I say with a smile before looking at Steve.

"What," he said shrugging his shoulders.

Hey. I wasn't gonna complain. This baby liked to eat. And it's Christmas.

We joined everyone in the living room, exchanging 'Merry Christmas', kisses, and hugs.

"The kids are very excited to open up their gifts." Alanna said.

I looked over at their two little faces as they jumped around the living room with quiet excitement.

"Okay we can do it, I just gotta eat something for me and this baby."

Right on cue, Steve had a plate in front of me with fresh fruit, a cup of yogurt, and a grape jelly biscuit.

"For you, while we open gifts. The chef says breakfast will be ready in 30 minutes." He says with a smile and a kiss on my lips.

"Come on kids, let's do this!" He yells with a clap of his hands and ran to the tree.

The kids jump up and follow their dad to the front of the house where the tree is set up. Alanna looks back at me, then up and down and smiles.

"What," I ask.

"What?" She mocks.

"What," I whisper, with my eyes wide open.

What was she talking about?

"Girl. You ARE GLOWING," she whispers, "and not the pregnant type of glow."
