The start to our vacation was going amazing!
First Kat and Alanna took me shopping.
"I can't believe you're going to Hawaii," Kat squealed excitedly.
"Me neither," I said as I picked up a floral dress that probably wouldn't fit over my pregnant stomach. I scrunched my face up in disappointment. "Nothing fits over this baby anymore."
"Maybe we should go to a maternity store," Alanna suggested.
"Do they even have maternity stores at the mall anymore?"
Kat and Alanna both looked at each other and shrugged. I rolled my eyes at the pair and looked for something else, to no avail. We left the store shortly after and ended up inside of the Disney store.
"Ooh you'd probably find something so cute in here for the Disney portion of your trip," Kat said as she got lost in the store.
My eyes scanned over the rows and rows of plushies and toys until I spotted a cute Princess Tiana t-shirt. My hands immediately picked it up.
"Oh my gosh! I have to have this," I squealed as I pressed it to my chest. "I love Tiana."
Alanna sidled up to me, looking at the other shirts there.
"They have a Charlotte shirt too. Oh! And Prince Naveen, Ray, Louis and Dr. Facilier shirts. You should get one for each of you. It'd be so cute."
I beamed at her. That would be too cute.
"Okay well obviously if I'm Tiana, Steve has to be Naveen," I said as I found one in his size, "And Ainsley will be Lottie and for Travis...he's definitely a Louis."
I grabbed a t-shirt for everyone in their size and proceeded to pay, but as I made it to the register a spotted cute, Tarzan inspired, jungle print outfits for the family. There was even a baby outfit.
My eyes immediately began watering as I thought of all of us dressed up these matching outfits. I grabbed a dress for myself, 2 shirts for the boys, a cute shirt and short set for Ainsley, and the little baby romper for Priscilla.
"You know Priscilla isn't going to wear that for a while right?"
"I know, but it'll be cute. She'll have a token of our very first family trip."
I paid for the items and we left the mall entirely. In the car Kat pulled up her phone, she found a maternity boutique in the area.
"Worth a try, right?" She said expectantly.
When we got to the store, I was in pregnant woman heaven. The boutique owners had waters, snacks and clothes for any occasion ready to go.
"Please feel free to call on us whenever you need," the store associate said.
All 3 of us split up looking for things for me to wear. I bet Alanna and Kat knew more about my Hawaii trip then I did, because the items they picked were a lot more fancy than the things I had picked up.
They ushered me into the fitting room and before I knew it we were walking out of the store with multiple bags on our arms. When we got in the car Alanna spoke the words I always loved to hear.
"Wanna get something to eat?"
"Yes!" I squealed happily. After all this shopping I needed a good meal.

Later that week we were all prepped and ready to embark on the first part of our family vacation. The kids were buzzing with excitement. So were Steve and I.
