*Morning*
"Mmm...Peri?"
"Hey sleepyhead, ready for the day to start?"
"But it's so early." She whined.
"It's noon."
"Oh." She laughed nervously.
Peri chuckled.
"So you were waiting on me?"
"Mhm."
"Thanks." She said blushing.
"Do you wanna go out for lunch or cook?"
"Hmm...how about cook?"
"Alright then, what's on the menu?"
"I know the morning's over, but I was thinking sausage and eggs with toast."
"Sounds good."
*Eating*
"So I really fell asleep on you like that? You could've woke me up, you know? I doubt that was comfortable. Sorry about all that."
"Well...I didn't wanna wake you up. The position might've not been the most comfortable, but i-it doesn't matter as long as you're sleeping peacefully. And you didn't even sound like a tractor this time." She said red.
Lapis sighed smiling. "You're too good to me. Oh! I have some good news!!"
"What is it?" She asked face packed with food.
"Mama wants to meet you today!"
"T-T-Today?!" 
"Yeah, her schedule's free for this weekend! Isn't that cool?!"
"Yeah! Can't wait!" Peri said in a nervous tone and a nervous smile to go with it. 'Oh my stars! This is where my life ends!!'
Lapis heard her groans. "Oh, don't be nervous, Peri. I'm sure she's gonna love you. She might look intimidating but she's super nice...most of the time. You'll live." Lapis said kissing her on the cheek.
"If you say so. Where are we meeting?"
"StarBucks at 3:30."
"It's already 2:00, we should start getting ready.
*TimeSkip*
They hop in the car and Peri puts the car in drive while Lapis called her mom.
"Hey Mama, we're on our way right now."
"Ok sweetie, I'm almost there. Tell Prince Charming I said hello."
Lapis looked over at Peri and saw her sweating bullets.
"H-Hello, M-M-Ms. Lazuli." She said weakly.
"Is she ok?"
"She's fine, she's just a little-"
Lapis sees Peri trembling.
"Never mind, she's terrified."
"Pfft! Well she better pull it together if she plans on marrying-"
"A little too soon, Ma!! see you there! Love you!"
"Love you see you soon."
She hung up.
"Sheesh, sorry about her."
"Don't worry about it."
"I know this is random, but if you don't listen to music in the car what kind of music do you like." She asked with a curious face.
