Lapis sighed. "Finally seniors."

"Yep." Peri replied.

"What are you gonna do for this summer?"

"I don't know whatever it is you'll probably be there."

"You're right. it feels like just a year ago I ran into a nerd that changed my life forever." Lapis said smiling.

"It was a year ago." Peri said chuckling a little.

"I know people usually have parties when they graduate, but let's have a party for just making it this far. Only if you want to though.

"That's a good idea. But I was just wondering when are you gonna get your own car?" Peri asked driving to her place.

"Even if I did have one I'd hardly drive it since you're always picking me up anyway."

"Hm." She said smiling.

"Hey, besides Amethyst, Garnet, and Pearl who should we invite over?" Lapis asked.

"Let's see, I'd like to invite two special guests: Steven and also Aqua since she did help."

"Aqua?! Fine, but I wouldn't call her a 'special' guest." She said pouting.

Period laughed. "C'mon, don't be like that. I'm positive she'll appreciate the invite."

"Because you're passing them out and I don't want her hitting on my Peri." She said holding one of Peri's hands.

"Is Lapis Lazuli jealous? Don't worry, you and I both know I only have eyes for you." She said with a smirk.

Lapis blushed. "You better." She mumbled. Peri heard her and started smiling.

Jail

"Who are you here for?" An officer asked.

"My sister, Malachite. I wanna see her."

"Right this way ma'am." The officer said guiding Jasper to Malachite. "152, You got a visitor!" The officer shouted.

'152? Is that her inmate number thingy?' Jasper wondered.

Malachite walked up and picked up the phone. "..."

"...Hey Mal." She said kind of nervous.

"I screwed up, and I'm...I'm sorry for that. Don't end up like me. Be better than me and Ma."

"I...I will."

"Good. I'll see you next time."

"Are you sure that's all?" The officer said supervising.

"There's nothing else to say." Malachite said walking out of the phone booth.

"Mal wait!" She stopped in her tracks and turned around. "You don't have to worry about me...I'm fine on my own."

"I know." She said with a small smile walking off. Jasper reciprocated.

*Meanwhile*

"We're here, let's head inside." Peri said.

"What food should we have?"

"Let's just cook anything, I'm sure they'd enjoy whatever it is. Especially Amethyst." Peri said shrugging.

"Hmm...I guess that could work."

"But we should buy some of those weird cat ice creams Steven loves so much." She added.

"Oh, yeah that's a great idea. Let's make a cake too."

"A cake? Why?"

"For the party, duh. What kind of party doesn't have cake."
