"Hey Pearl, do you like classical music?"

"Where'd that come from? I love classical music."

"So does Peri, and I wanna play a couple of songs for her birthday. I don't know a lot about classical anything though."

"That's so sweet. If it's not classical music what songs do you play?"

"Mmm...mostly songs you'd maybe hear on the radio. Oh, I do know one classical song though, it's called Neptune Opening 9 No. 2 and I think it's by a guy named Mozart. I really like it."

"It's called Nocturne Opus 9 No.2 and it's by Chopin, not Mozart. But since you enjoy nocturnes I suggest you play that one or this. It's a minuet though. Me personally, I enjoy a waltz, specifically Mariage de'Amour. Though sonatas are..." Lapis began to drown Pearl out, It was too much information to take in all at once.

'I have no idea what any of these words mean!!' Lapis thought nodding her head awkwardly.

"Wouldn't you agree?" Pearl's question snapped Lapis out of her thoughts.

"Um...yeah. You like marriage and armor and minutes, wasps and sodas." Lapis said smiling nervously.

Pearl sighed. "It's either by Bach or Petzold, I can't remember, but just listen." She said holding her phone up to Lapis's ear. "it's a lovely piece." Pearl said closing her eyes and enjoying the gentle song.

'Nerds.' "Hmm. Yeah, that's nice, but I might play something I already know. Since I only have a week."

"What's the other song called? You said you were going to play a couple."

"It's called Nothing, I listened to it and I really like it, and it sound amazing on the piano. So I'm definitely playing that."

"The song is called Nothing?"

"Yeah. I kinda knew someone would get a little confused." She said chuckling.

"I'm sure it sounds beautiful." She said with a small smile.

*ThirdPeriod*

Peri was focused on her work but she felt like something or someone was watching her. She turned around to find Lapis completely intoxicated, like she was in a world of her own. "Um...earth to Lapis. Are you there?" Peri said waving her hand in her face.

"Mmm...Yeah?" She asked still looking at Peri and humming happily.

"What's going on, you've been staring at me for at least 20min."

"Oh it's nothing. I just been doing some thinking. And I'm so lucky, ya know?"

"Lucky? How?"

"Because I have you."

"Well stop staring. I-I can't focus with your eyes on me like that." She said blushing.

"You're birthday's just a few days away, I can't wait!"

"Why are you so excited?"

'Can't give it away it's supposed to be a surprise!' "Why aren't you?"

"I am, my mom and mother are coming."

"Really?! Can't wait to meet them." 'Playing the piano would be a great first impression.' Lapis thought happily.

"Hey Lapis...I-I'm lucky to have you too." She said keeping her attention on her work blushing. Lapis gave a small smile.

*LunchTime*

Ding! Ding! Ding! Pearl's phone chimed. "Hm?" She checked it.
